Great drone. ultra portable since the props fold in and comes with a nice semi hardshell case for the drone. The only thing is I wish it had the DJI proprietary connection and no the 2.4ghz/5ghz wifi controller connection. I suggest not using this around area where a lot of wifi signals are present. It may cause connection issues while flying. Otherwise the 3axis gimbal, program modes and everything else makes this a great drone for amateurs. Remember to register with the FAA and call the closest air traffic control if u want to be sure u are ok to fly.

I hesitated jumping into the drone world for a long time mainly because all the drones out there were so huge and bulky. DJI took the drones to a whole new world now with the Mavic Air which is small and perfect for the traveler/backpacker. I took this drone with me on a recent trip abroad and had a blast capturing a "bird's eye view" of the places I visited and making cool videos with the new "asteroid" and "boomerang" preset features! The one complaint I have about this drone is that the battery only lasts 18-20 minutes, so if you're getting this drone go ahead an get at least 1 extra battery.

Awesome,sensors are better,size,price and it fits any where.

I purchased the DJI Spark to get my feet wet into the drone world and loved it.. sold the spark to get the Mavic Air and did not regret it one bit.. I actually exchanged this and for the fly more combo because it was a much better value.. the normal bundle only has one battery($90) the fly more combo is $200 more but has 3 batteries, a battery charging dock that lets you charge 4 batteries($50) and a carrying case($50) the 4k video is amazing! vs the spark's 1080p video(which was still very good for the price of the spark) the onboard 8gb memory is nice as I forgot my card once already and was still able to record. the range has improved to 2 miles from the spark's 1 mile range. when folded up, its smaller than the spark. shooting pics in raw is amazing.. but the best feature is the APAS system that will navigate past obstacles instead of just stopping( like what the Mavic Pro does) Ive intentionally tried to fly it into myself and it would either fly above or around me. (so cool) the flight time is better at around 20 minutes VS the sparks 15 min. can't say enough good things about this wonderful drone

I was looking to purchase my 1st drone. After doing a lot of research I decided on a DJI Mavic Air. The drone is very easy to fly. Plenty of training is provided online thru DJI. The video that it takes is fantastic! Still learning everything this drone does, which is a lot. Purchase a micro SD card for pic/video.

DJI Mavic Air is an amazing drone,it shot amazing videos and photos.The battery life is also good,but if u want to fly more you will need to buy extra battery or buy fly more combos.The controller is also nice and it fits on hands very comfortable,and easy to use,but you need some skills in fly.

I first bought the spark awhile back and I’ve learned some hard lessons. After breaking the arm off (which I have since replaced the body) I found that the gimbal is extremely sturdy design. Now that I own the Mavic Air which has a similar designed gimbal, I can say with out a doubt that this is the most rounded drone dji has come out with. I would recommend to start with the spark if you just beginning. Work your way up from there.

Yes, it's not cheap (for beginners) but it packs a punch full of features. I love the 4k video, love how small yet strong it is. Flies great and comes with amazing features. I own this and a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and fly them both weekly. You can't go wrong with this!

I have had a few drones now. This one does everything the mid size drones do, all in a crazy small package. Unpacks fast, up and flying in no time at all. Great picture quality. I just love this drone. I sold all my other drones because I can. It see a use for them.

I got this drone on sale during Black Friday. I don’t think I would pay normal retail. It’s fun and easy to use. It takes amazing shots and videos. The only problem is there are tons of restrictions on drones so I don’t get to use it often.

Im not a videographer so i can't tell you how much better or worse the camera is but if you like to shoot video and want something really spectacular, try this. Easy to fly and DJI sent my extra stuff from their website in 2 days and i didnt ask for it that fast.

Bought this for my 13 year old. He simple loves it. We enjoy how easy it is to take around. Enjoy the qulaity of video and pictures. Easy to use. We are going to Ecuador this summer. Can not wait to take pics and videos of the Ande Mountains ...

This was my first real drone. I learned all the controls within my first 10 minute flight. It is quick and the camera gives of some stunning shots and footage. Its stealthy and small, which is a great thing but sometimes you lose the line of sight.

Changed my Mavic Pro to the Mavic Air, because of its size. For people that travel a lot like me, the size is significantly important and the Mavic Air is perfect in the way that is very compact, but still have the same quality of the Mavic Pro.

I’ve owned every almost every single drone that DJI has came out with except for the spark. This is buy far the best! It’s compact easy to fly and takes the quality of the inspire and shrinks it down to fit in the palm of your hand!

I’m a beginner Kinda new to flying drones. This is the most amazing drone, very simple to use and easy to understand all the controls with no problems at all. The videos are fantastic and very clear and smooth a must have if you are into filming.

This replaces my bulky DJI Phantom 3 Image quality is very good as well as ease of use Excellent for traveling by air as you can easily stuff it in your hand bag while my old drone needed a case as big as a carry on

For the small size this drone comes in it packs a huge punch. I’ve made some amazing videos and taken some cool pics with it, and the quality is superb for the price with all the features it packs in this tiny, very portable package!

The drone is super portable, love that feature on it. It takes really good quality for personal use and decent quality for commercial usage. Looks real slick and generally quite considering other drones are much louder.

Good small drone that's easy to fly and produces great photos and stable video footage. Automated shooting options and obstacle avoidance make it easy to get good results fast. Buy extra batteries!!!
