This is a great drone for beginners. It produces great quality video and it's easy to use.

The moment I first fly this, I am amazed how easy it is to fly, ofcourse you want to start at a low hobby grade drone first not a toy grade but hobby. If you can get good with the hobby one, this one will be your best friend, charging time and flight time is great with the extra batteries combo. Follow the FAA rules and you'll be fine. There's a reason why DJI is the top dog when it comes to drones. I was very skeptical and it took me a while to finally come to terms with the price. I bought it on sale for a lot less than what's going for now and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I save a few hundred dollars and I got an awesome drone. This thing is amazing and it does everything it claims it can do, and then some. I've flown around my house and at the park and I've gotten amazing video. The return home and all the features, to many to mention, work flawlessly. The only complaint was the instructions, it does really have any and you need to search YouTube to learn how to fly it. It was a little daunting getting it up and running the first time but still worth every penny. I've bought the DJI goggles RE and I've used them once and it's truly an immersive experience. A lot of fun to fly and great photography go hand and hand. Excellent and highly recommend.

I originally got this drone after the mavic mini because I wanted longer range and something that can fly in wind easier. This is pretty quiet even quieter than the mini! The Platinum is the update if the first gen Mavic Pro only differences are propellers quieter motors and the color. Obviously the Mavic 2 is the newer model. I'd say get this one and wait for the Mavic 3 like I am. The 3 will be a big upgrade worth waiting for.

This is my first drone, and love it so far. I spent about 20 minutes in beginner mode and now feel comfortable flying it, though I am still super-cautious. The picture quality is amazing, and my head is full of tons of ideas of things I can now do with it. Since it is my first, can't really compare it to any others, but it is working great for me.

This drone is awesome and very easy to operate once you are accustomed to it. The object avoidance is a nice add because it gives you that comfort that its harder to crash into something. But you still can't be reckless with it. I highly recommend this drone. The Fly More combo is a nice add as well since you get a total of 3 batteries for my fly time.
