Good quality, easy to use and I love the range of the remote control

despite the mavic 2 being available, this drone is still worth the money. I dont feel the need for the zoom lens version of the mavic pro 2, or the overly expensive version with the hasselblad lens. the camera takes super crisp high quality video and great photos. The fact that your phone has to be wired to the RC instead of connecting wirelessly is great

Good drone to start with - intuitive and easy to fly. Good enough camera for anything I will need.

My husband and I are not professionals, but not beginners either because we own an Aton Quadcopter from Traxxas. We know how to fly because the Aton is basic and has return to home and we attached a Gopro to it. Connect the battery and up it goes using the controller. The Mavic, on the other hand, has more bells and whistles that we need to get more comfortable with. We were on the fence about DJI because we have heard stories about fly aways and software upgrades not working properly. After some coaxing and really thinking about it, we decided to get one. We were consider many different quadcopters on the market. We need to get comfortable looking at the tablet while flying and finding what the icons are and what happens when touched. My husband said it was a hassle to sync it up and watched videos about it because the booklet that comes with it doesn't say how to do it. If you have any questions, you are referred to their website. YouTube videos are your friends for this and teaches you what other stuff it can do. I know many people who are first time flyers and they got a DJI right off the bat. If you are a first time flyer, why are you going to get an expensive piece of tech to just crash it when not knowing how to fly? I do not recommend for new flyers, even though it does have beginner mode. The more basic a quadcopter is, the better it is for beginners because it is practice to get better and decide to get a more expensive one at a later time.

I did a lot of research before purchase and even though it’s not the newest model, improvements weren’t enough for me to spend the extra money and I kept coming back to it. This is the first drone I’ve bought and I am not disappointed. I’m the type to research and spend once rather than upgrade periodically. This is a drone I plan on using for a long time. Being a beginner pilot, there is a lot to take in at first, but following instruction and YouTube video or 2, it was very easy to get started. I didn’t expect to pull it out and immediately take off. It does require some updating and watching the tutorials on the app to get a bit of understanding of what you’re looking at on the controller and phone/tablet. Being a gamer helped with understanding the controls. Pretty much configured the layout as a first person shooter. It’s a breeze to control although, at least to me being inexperienced and afraid to wreck it, gets a little too wobbly for my comfort at around 22 MPH winds. This was a great package deal when it was on sale. I have a Phantom 3 and have replaced it with the Mavic. The battery life is good, around 26 mins. I use it to video my son's football practice. The sport mode is fun but really drains the battery fast

OMG! Just did my maiden flight. This is an incredible drone. It is amazingly quiet and can do so many amazing functions automatically. If you are interested in drones GET IT. I'd add 5 more stars if I could.

Our first adventure into the drone world..Very easy flying, picture/video results. Very safety oriented and almost flies itself! Avoids crashes/obstacles and the Return to Home option is awesome! Great purchase for a first drone kit!

GREAT job, DJI. I went in to buy an intermediate drone, and an associate at this store talked to me for about 30-45min answering questions and did not mean to keep him, and would up buying this fly more combo pack......WOW!!!

The drone is awesome, I don’t care for the case that comes with the fly more package. It’s too small to fit all the accessories that come with it and it’s not very good on the remote. Other than that It’s great.

With the fly more package it will give you extra batteries and props to practice your skills in taking 4K video and awesome photos. I get better at it every time I fly. This combo package is a great value!

Very easy to fly for beginners and very durable. I owned it one month and got out of hand in fast mode and hit 2 tree limbs. 1 at 10 feet and 1 at 69 feet and held up great to both crashes. Just chipped the tip off 2 propellers each crash.

I went looking for my first drone. I seen this one before and with its portability I thought it would be great. I picked up the combo which to me is good value with the extra stuff you get all at once

Never had a drone before but this one is very easy to get started with. Just got it out of the box and away it went. Didn't have to research anything about how to fly it. Definitely recommend.

This thing is amazing. No issues, no problems...just perfection. The fly more combo is also worth it. You get so much extra stuff especially a super high end bag. This is worth every penny. This drone smokes any and all other drones.

This quad is super stable and the gimbal keeps your videos smooth. Flying is easy in beginner mode, haven’t tried advanced mode yet. It is expensive but I would definitely recommend it.

This drone is a bit pricey for a beginner. But that’s because it’s not simply a beginners drone. You can start off in beginner mode then when comfortable, can go to normal mode.
