Definitely helps stabilize and obtain cinematic style videos. Took me a minute to understand the basics, yea I didn't read instructions and still only skimmed over them. Don't like the side mount for the connection to use an extension stick or tripod but an adapter will make it work with pretty much anything you want. The carry bag is a joke because it barely fits and you have to either adjust the arm back in every time you want to put it away or fold it just right and hold your tongue just right to zip the bag closed. I have a iPhone 7 plus, and it is adjusted almost fully open but if you have a larger phone you would have to get a different bag or adjust and balance it every time you used it. Honestly I would be more happy if it was in the 100 -150 range but the real test will be this summer when I mount it on a pole mount on my boat and see how much it reduces the shakiness of my videos filming wake-boarding. I'm hopeful that the DJI software will track the rider and eliminate my reliance on a camera operator. Maybe I'll change my mind. We shall see. Ps. I'm also disappointed that DJI app doesn't film in 4K . Had to buy a 10 app to accomplish but lost some of the DJI functionality. Come on DJI

Still not out of date, there are competing but similar venues for gimbal stabilization. The Oslo is high quality, easy to use, and makes videos seems professional in their stability. I use this with iPhone 8 and X. Pricey, but worth the mate to the high quality smart phone cameras.

Absolutely in love with the Osmo Mobile! I was looking into the Osmos for a while and glad to have settled with the Osmo Mobile. We used the item during our holiday parties and everyone fell in love with the Osmo. A few already have mentioned they plan to purchase one too. We used the Osmo with iPhone 7plus and the video & photo quality was great. Editing videos through the DJI Go app is user friendly. Can’t wait to use the Osmo during travels and more events!

Great stabilizer..this is great for your phone for a stable picture. Better than a cheap selfie stick.

The Osmo Mobile is perfect if you use your phone to make home videos and want to make them look more professional, or for vloggers that want to do the same. It performs well and isn't ridiculously expensive, although if you already have a phone with good optical stabilisation you may not see a massive improvement in some shots. Of course, it's important to remember that video quality is only as good as your phone's camera.

I have been testing this gimbal stabilizer for a couple of weeks now. It is definitely worth the money in my opinion. It takes your mobile phone's camera and turns it in to a smooth cinematic movie machine. Most people think of this for just taking the shakiness, judder, and wobble out of their videos and photos, but it also does timelapse video, motion timelapse video, panorama photos, 330 degree photos, 180 degree photos. Long exposure for light writing, photos of stars, and lightning. Some of these modes are better with a tri-pod or gorilla pod grip. It has a tri- pod attachment on the side of the handle. Active track works pretty well but can lose you some times. The concept is awesome and most times in decent lighting it works really well. The camera will follow you around as if there was a camera man filming you. It is a cool feature because you would never ask a stranger to take video of you and your significant other or group like you would for a photo. Make sure to research if your phone is compatible some work better than others. I have the Samsung S8+ and it seems to work with all of the features in my time with it so far.

This product was little hard at first to setup but once you get it going it's good unit. Works good with iPhone and my GoPro. Had to buy attachment online tho. Would recommend to others yes. Great pics and video for the price

Great quality. A little Pricey in my opinion compared to other similar products I saw at Best Buy. Syncing problems caused me to return it. If price dropped a good bit, I would recommend it then because it was neat when it actually worked.

Gave it a 3 for doing everything it said and being of good quality doesn't feel flimsy or easy to break in a backpack or on the go. One con to this product I had the 6S and now the 7 and both phones I had to take the case off to mount onto the osmo. Also will drain your iPhone battery but I will say this product is worth the money. The app with the Osmo has the capability to track you or a object you choose and I love to sit this down and record myself biking, skating, or anything you think of when someone isn't there to shoot for you or they want in the shot.

DJI has made a great gimbal for your smartphone that can deliver smooth video that makes your shots a lot more pleasing to watch. This gimbal has great software and can take your phones video capabilities to the next level.

I bought this stabilizer to record my hikes at Grand canyon. I was pleased with the quality of the videos. The stabilizer resulted in smooth videos on 30FPS from my iphone 6s. It looked very cinematic. Many people asked about the stabilizer on the way(confusing it for a selfie stick?). I would have given it four stars but this is still expensive and I did experience disconnections and malfunctions. The stabilizer motor just stopped and the iphone just hung freely(mini heart attack). No biggie as the thing worked fine after a quick on/off. Still a pain for something this expensive.

Great product. Much better than the GoPro alternative. The motion time lapse alone makes this a great buy, but it’s just one of many features I love about the device. You still get a little bounce when walking if you aren’t careful, but it does a great job of stabilizing your videos.

After watching my vomit inducing vedio from the first snow of 2017 I said no more! With an adapter plate for the GoPro I can use booth my phone and the action camera. It does have a learning curve, but even fresh out of the book the video is greatly improved. Would recomend getting a case to carry it in.

Pretty awesome device to shoot good pictures and video. Because it cost so much I think built in extension (selfie stick) should have been incorporated. Wish it also had a lock when not useing it, because it awkwardly flops around otherwise.

Have tested several times on iPhone X and I gotta say you will fall in love with this stabilizer. Best purchase by far, the features and support on the iOS are excellent.

The build quality of this device is incredible and it feels worth for the msrp. The initial setup was pretty easy and the app was ok with few manual controls but using Promovie or other professional apps will get most out of this gimbal.

It is not easy to setup. And some of the features it says it has, do not work. But it does help with good photos and especially video. Manufacture Custom tee support are a challenge.

Bought this product for use on a vacation. Unlike other reviews that complained about setup I thought hte setup was simple including the balancing of the phone. The product does exactly as it says and does it very quietly. The only challenge which isn't a problem for the gimbal is my iPhone 6 plus doesnt last long in video mode with constant bluetooth communication wit the Gimbal. You can't use a power pack to fix the problem because the gimbal blocks the lightning port leaving you with the only solution which is to disconnect it and charge it every 15-20 mins. I wouldn't buy it again unless the phone I was using had a very long lasting battery.

I bought this for my business. It helped produce steady videos and was easy to set up. It's a little bulky but the final product was worth it.
