It works well with my Samsung phone. Smooth and steady. Figuring out downloads for updates is a bit confusing, but other than that super user friendly.

The Osmo is a really really awesome gadget, the price may seem expensive at first but relative to steady cams for full sized cameras it's a bargain, especially since most phones can shoot excellent video. I would recommend this if you're using it for a business/social media marketing. It's really efficient to shoot video on your phone with the Osmo, edit, and simply upload.

Was looking for a good way to stabilize the videos I was shooting for my daughters video blog, and the OSMO definitely fits the bill. Allows me to use my phone, so when I update my phone in the future, my camera will improve as well and not be stuck to whatever would come stuck to the gimbal. Definitely suggest for anyone looking to make more professional looking videos.

I had gone back and fourth as to whether this would actually do what I wanted. I had a gimbal for a Go-Pro and wasn't really certain that a product for a phone would be sufficient. I can say without a doubt that this is FAR better than the previous gimbal I owned and the video quality is awesome with an iPhone 7+ and an aftermarket app that integrates with this device.

This gimbal is pretty nice. Sturdy and works well but it is not meant for big phones! I used it on my note 8 and it barely fits with a case on. Plus it is not 100% balanced so that's why the 4 stars. Needs to be upgraded for future phones now that they are a lot bigger then before. Good product though. At the time of purchase the app was not working with my phone. Not much else to say. Try it out and see if you like it. Don't think it's worth the price but it's not too bad.

Used this for taking a family video while Christmas tree shopping. Makes for a shake free video and also perfect for panoramic photos.

I previously used a camcorder with a Merlin Steadicam. While it worked fairly well, setting it up each time took a while and learning how to control it took longer. I would sometimes get a boat effect (where the camcorder would bob up and down). The Osmo Mobile does not have any of those issues. Just stick your smartphone in, turn on the stabilizer, then start the app (not required). It does quite well at balancing on it's own. Why not 5 stars? 1) It's a tight squeeze to get my iPhone 7 Plus with a case in the holder 2) It's a little awkward handling the phone in the holder before turning the stabilizer on 3) Proprietary USB charging cable (it comes with one, a second one would be fifteen dollars Three hundred bucks for this stabilizer is way better than the eight hundred I paid for the Merlin Steadicam many years ago.

This product coming from the DJI family, did not disappoint. It provides a super stable end product, just like the drones do.

This gimbal is easy to use and works like magic. It will absorb all bumps and vibrations for smooth pro-like videos. Also has cool tracking functions. Left one star off because the included app isn’t all that great. On our iPhone X the default camera app took much better photos and videos.

Hardware is solidly-built and works very well, although having to balance the phone every time you use it is a major hassle. The software is horrible. Lots of bugs, lots of crashes and it won't even save directly to the usual photo folder. Disappointed. Do yourself a favor and buy an Osmo+.

I had no intention of buying a mobile gimbal. The only reason I did was because I haven't been able to fly my drone in NYC in ages since it was banned! So I figured having this would be be cathartic in some way. So anyways, about the Osmo Mobile. I use it exclusively on an iPhone 6 and did not have to struggle with the instructions to figure out how to use it. The pan and zoom function are quite flawless especially compared to my hands which image stabilization camera lenses have given up on. The DJI app works well with it, but I think FiLMiC Pro does a better job. My only complaints are that the Bluetooth drops out when I have my anker battery case on. And in case you haven't noticed, having your iPhone running for a continuous 30-40 mins shooting video will likely leave you with just enough power to text someone to pick you up or check the email one last time. It would have been great if they left some space where you can still attach a lightning cable to your phone. Other than that I think it's all good.

It makes steady video depending on which phone you use. It needs to be balanced before startup. The iPhone 7+ needs a counterweight on the other side. An extra camera battery velcroed to balance it helps get steady video and better shots but it takes a little bit of setup but it's worth it for the great smooth and steady video.

Osmo its definitely the best stabilizer camera ever. highly recommend to anyone who wants to make videos more smoother.

Gives you pro grade features in a compact consumer stabilizer. Worth the price tag DJI builds high quality products.

This gimbal is a great alternative to the more pricey ones. I've jumped of stages while filming. Steady as a rock.

Great gimbal for phone as well as GoPro, I read some reviews online as well as YouTube and I am not disappointed.

FYI: Don't panic if it doesn't work as soon as you take it out of the box! CHARGE IT UP COMPLETELY (til the light turns green) to begin with setup! I love this product because it helps me take smooth videos on my smartphone! I'm a photographer, and I love my digital cameras. I also have a gimbal/stabilizer for my camera! So I know how important it is to have really cool smooth videos. Yes, the DJI mobile is a bit pricey, but it's still not as expensive as digital cameras, gear and equipment! It's so lightweight and it's a really cool contraption for your phone. it's also comforting to know that I'm utilizing the technology I have on my smartphone, alongside with the DJI osmo mobile. This is by far my favorite iPhone accessory. I use it everywhere I go, even if we're just hanging out with friends and family. If you're still thinking about purchasing this, just weigh in on how important it is to get your money's worth in everything that you have. Being always on the go, and I love capturing memories on whatever medium I have, this is pretty much worth it for me.

Bought this hoping to smooth out my video taping. Works as intended. Major flaws were in the execution with the software. Definitely suggest a download from home. It's a massive download. The main issue was getting my videos from my device as you need to use the app to then save it in the picture folder of my iPhone. There were times when the space filled up and it was a major PITA to retrieve. Another issue is that the capture screen does not show phone battery life and my battery died a few times. Lastly the battery charging process on the device is slow and finding replacement batteries were near impossible when I bought it. The interface is decent but there isn't a great way to smooth the panning (controls are fairly sensitive).

Been using this to take cinematic videos and it is slick! Highly recommend this for any videographer.

I have enjoyed using the Osmo Mobile for recording movies and taking pictures.
