I wanted a tablet holder for the Phantom 3 Standard remote since it only came with the flimsy white plastic phone holder. I found (via YouTube) it was possible to use the OEM DJI tablet holder from the premium range of Phantom 3 remotes, of course with a bit of DIY modification. One drilled hole (7/64 drill bit) later, my iPad Pro 9.7 was positioned with ease. The iPad 9.7 does seem a bit out of place since it seems a bit larger than the remote itself. Nevertheless, I won't be squinting in order to see when flying my drone.

This device holder is excellent.This holder comes with the Dji Phantom 4 drones,but I added this to my remote for the Phantom 3 and it's perfect.You do have to drill a hole into the remote but it's very easy to do.The holder is very sturdy and does an excellent job.

I purchased this to use my iPad Mini with my drone. It works exactly like it should. I read a lot of complaints about it not being sturdy. I find it very stable with my mini on it. The only star I deducted was because the mounting screw is very cumbersome to attach and detach. If I kept it mounted all the time to the remote no big deal, but the case I have doesn't allow for that so my fat fingers have to be very nimble in getting the screw tight without dropping it. Which I do about 75% of the time. Beside seems to be well built.

MUST HAVE. IVE HAD 4 DRONES AND THE CLIP ATTACHMENT BROKE ON HALF AND IS LOSE THIS FITS UP TO 12 INCH TABLET

Works well with iPad Air 2. Very sturdy. Good quality product.

Holds iPad mini perfect!! I’ve seen others but this is a perfect fit. I did not drill the hole for it and it’s just fine.

Shouldn't have to drill a hole to secure the peg. Holds the iPad mini well. Not a fan of having to drill. Hoping the peg holds long-term.

I own a Phantom 3 standard that comes with a small clip that can only hold a smart phone. I bought this mobile device holder because I want to be able to use a mini ipad when flying my drone. This device is easy to install and it works perfectly!

Not outlined anywhere in the description or in the packaging...you will need to drill a hole in your controller to mount this. YouTube is your friend on this installation.

Good product that works as expected. Beware that installing this requires taking the remote apart and drilling a hole. That is not stated anywhere in the ad.

The holder grips the ipad mini perfectly. Ipad mini does not fall out of the holder.

I like that there is flexibility that I can adjust this to use my phone or my tablet when flying my drone.

Makes a great addition to the dji controller, adding it made flying the drone more enjoyable

Easy modification to scale back to the DJI Phantom Standard.

I use a Samsung Tab4, and it holds it in place very well. Just wish I could find a sunshroud that fits and works as well.

I broke my holder on my phantom and didn't even think to look at best buy for parts but i came across the part and ordered it. shipping was fast and got my drone back up in the air. i would recommend any dji part from best buy.

I wanted a holder for my 7" tablet and this was a good solution. It does require you disassembe the controller and drill a hole on the P3S. It will work without doing that, but is a less solid mount.

This item was purchased to replace the included phone holder on the Phantom 3 standard controller. Exactly what I was after to hold either a phone or tablet. Used item pickup and went smooth.

Works well the only thing I did not like is that for the control box you have to either trim a little of the holder off or drill a hole in the control box
