Customers find value in the Ronin-SC Pro Combo 3-Axis Stabilizer's ease of use and competitive price point, praising its intuitive design and performance for the cost. However, some users note the weight of the stabilizer can be challenging, particularly when approaching its maximum load capacity, and balancing the gimbal may require some practice. Overall, the gimbal itself receives positive feedback.

Bought this several months ago for my Sony a7iii. I wish that it was JUST a tad more robust, and has JUST a tad more clearance, but it works well with my Zeiss 25mm, and my Laowa 12mm. Anything bigger=problematic.
All in all, it's a reasonable priced, responsive, well built gimbal for the price, and good for on-the-go shooting. Additionally, the follow feature is quite nifty.
I'd recommend it, especially for slightly lighter and smaller cams and lenses.

I had never owned a gimbal so I did a lot of homework before purchasing this one. It is not too heavy and once you manage the learning curve, it operates very smoothly. I will say, be sure and watch videos and tutorials. You will need to when you perfect the balancing operation. Tougher than it seems. Be patient, and this will be an incredible addition to your gear, no matter how you are needing to use it.

Have been using this gimbal for a little over 2 months now and absolute love it. Feels solid in the hand and has awesome feel when using it. Love the custom programmable buttons that allow you to seemlesly shift between use modes. Would highly recommend, especially for the price.

Gimbal is very well made & has a multitude of functionality, & customization due to it's smaller size it is suitable for smaller cameras (think Sony's & Canon's mirrorless lines). Gimbal can be a bit frustrating to perfectly balanced at time, but once it's set-up, you have a tremendous amount of shooting flexibility & balance, especially when shooting fast movement & sports.

I purchased on a whim and I am pleased with my decision. The Ronin SC is to be used on smaller cameras. Shots are steady, and it is easy for even beginners to pick up and play with.

Got this on Black Friday and a great deal! I don't have a lot of time with this yet, but off and running right away. Love the quality, and ease of use. Using Sony A7 with 16-50 and Sony 55mm. Keep it light. Tried the phone mount and it gets a little top-heavy, but still works. Auto tracking is impressive. The only downfall so far is the camera mount you use to slide left to right for balance. First, it slides hard. When you loosen it, you also loosen the back and forth adjust, so if you are not careful you knock it out of balance. Once you set it up a couple of times you figure out how best to do it. Also, I'm going to figure out a quick-release adapter set up so I can mount, unmount, and move back and forth from tripod to gimbal with ease. Great price, solidly built, does what they say, now I need to get out and practice.

Definitely only for mirrorless cameras, any weight that is close to it's limit seems a bit difficult to manage. But overall amazing gimble.

After researching a little I decided to get this gimbal as my first gimbal. It was an excellent choice! The features are what drew me to it compared to other gimbals and the DJI brand is a good one. There are good tutorials online to help with balancing and learning about some of the cool features. It comes to you in a nice dark grey styrofoam case for easy storage and is easy to put together and take apart. The locking mechanisms are really helpful with balancing and the handle is rechargeable and lasts a long time. I use a Sony A6400 camera on it with no issues. The locking mechanism for the camera mount makes it easy to find the balance point again and again once the camera is taken off and put back on. The tripod is sturdy and can screw on and off quickly. I really enjoy playing with the tracking feature and phone control features, but you have to use your phone to connect to the gimbal. The phone connects wirelessly to the gimbal and the gimbal is connected by a wire to your phone in order to control the camera. The whole setup with camera on it are decently light. I have had no issues with it being too heavy to move around with. All in all, it is very easy to setup, slide your camera on, and go.

I have been using the regular non-motorized stabilizers; the ones with the counterweights on the bottom of the unit. This stabilizer is exactly what I needed for my mirrorless camera. It is very easy to understand and it does take a while to learn how to steady the camera on the unit. All I did was check YouTube for information. After that, everything was great.

I saw the glowing reviews and decided to buy one, however setting it up is all about trial and error and took a long time, when it's finally done, it's making clicking noise when you move the gimbal around. I have many DJI products and this one falls below standard of what DJI can do.

I had originally purchased a Ronin-SC for my Sony A6600 and though it did ok, it did not handle the weight, even when perfectly balanced, many times as I operated it. Nice

Over the years, I've purchased many items from DJI and I have been quite pleased with the results I've gotten from them. This stabilizer is no different... and once you balance it correctly, it lasts all day! I used it for my video business on a shoot, and I never had to charge it. As long as your camera can fit, (mine was a Sony A6500 with a 18-105) then you can purchase the "SC" version like I did, verse getting the "S." A happy customer.
