Great Dr. Who series. I want to add more of this series. I will purchase more as times permit.

Jodie Whitaker takes my breath away as the new doctor and gives me a reason to wipe again!!!

So long a wait for a female doctor it was so worth the wait really good stories and the fun never stops

This season is a great addition to the Doctor Who lineup. A must watch for any Doctor Who fan.

first time female Dr. Who seen all Dr. Who except old ones (1960s)

It was a good quality dvd at a great price. I was looking for a good deal.

I am a huge fan of Dr. Who. That in itself is an understatement. I have my own opinions in regards to who my favorite and least favorite doctors are and, have learned not to judge until they have had a fair shot. This season is a low point all around for Dr Who. I have no qualms with anyone taking the helm regardless of whom that choice maybe. The biggest issue is that the writer of the series after Moffat left has no vision for who the doctor actually is. They seem to be more about filling the roles of what is now deemed acceptable for a diverse cast than creating story that is compelling. The flaw in Jodie Whittakers depiction of the doctor I fear is not her own but rather the fact that there is nothing to differentiate herself from any other doctor other than the most obvious in her physicality. This alone is not enough. There is nothing memorable about her performance. There is nothing to stand out as being unique in her depiction. Just looking back even to Matt Smith, custard and fish fingers, his Fez and bow tie. He had really tough shoes to fill after the departure of Tennant and, he came out swinging and roaring to play the part. It also seems that this series was more of a throwback to Classic Who with it’s one dimensional traveling companions who are regrettably forgettable and, really there only to prop her up. Fortunately, as it has now been long enough for series 12 to have come out, there was a major turn around and a much better series than this. So it saddens me to say this about a series I hold very dear but, this is by far the weakest of the seasons and, left me wondering if this was the end of Dr. Who. Thankfully the ship has been righted. One other minor gripe. The holiday specials used to come with the series. Now you have to purchase them separately. I realize it all comes down to money but, I would rather pay a bit more and have it all in one than have to buy separate episodes one at a time.

I love me some Doctor Who and this new season does not disappoint.
