The 4K Arrow release of "Donnie Darko" is a technical marvel. The film has been scanned and restored in 4K resolution from the original camera negative, resulting in a stunning picture quality that is a significant improvement over previous releases. The colors are rich and vibrant, and the contrast is perfect, making every scene look more detailed and lifelike. The Dolby Vision-enhanced presentations for both the Theatrical and Director's Cuts are excellent, and the lossless DTS-HD Master Audio sound is also impressive. The limited edition steelbook packaging is a nice touch that adds to the overall value of the release. Overall, the 4K Arrow release of "Donnie Darko" is a must-have for fans of the film and collectors of 4K steelbooks.

Lets get some of the negative out. This 4K release was lacking the digital version of the film which is always a huge plus. Can’t go into detail of the extra features yet but will update once i dig in. Packaging is simple. I wish this would’ve gotten nicer overall packaging. The movie itself does look and sound wonderful. At times, the darkness was a bit too dark but that can be addressed with your tv settings. Regardless of the details of the physical item, thia film is a standout classic! A movie that multiple theories make sense in. This is a must watch with great 80s themes and music.

Hugh upgrade from the bluray. An absolute must own for fans of the movie.

The inclusion of the theatrical and director's cut was an excellent decision as both are equally amazing stories. Quality of the Ultra HD transfer looks and sounds nice.

I wasn't planning on buying this when I went to my local best buy but in ended up taking it home. Too bad best buy has stopped selling physical media in stores
