I played doom 3 on my original Xbox; looked and played decent, but not close to gaming PC quality. I purchased the BFG 1080P HD version for PS3 on sale, but didn't get around to playing. Now, that it is backwards compatible on XBox One, I purchased the Xbox 360 BFG 1080 HD version, just to play with faster load times and using my Xbox One console/controller. Looks and plays fantastic,- much preferred over PS3 tiny hand-cramping controller.

I wanted to go back and play some of the old versions of Doom. This contains Doom 1 - 3 included on the disk. It was fun, but hard to go back in time with graphics. :)

With the improvements made to this collection, Doom 3 fares better than its original release, despite still having some shortcomings about it. it's a bit of an odd duck out of the franchise now, especially with how the 2016 incarnation turned out, but it's still very much worth playing, Plus, you get the original two games with this one, and that alone should be worth the price of entry on this edition.

I already owned the old Xbox version of Doom 3, but this version runs on both my 360 and my One. Plus it comes with the original version of Doom (all 4 episodes) and Doom 2, both of which I loved to play. So far, all 3 versions play pretty well, and Doom starts off with things being pretty calm, so I can figure out how to work the controller! I'm old and grew up with PC gaming, so my dexterity with modern controllers is pretty bad...the original games are helping me overcome that!

I've played the original doom series on the pc when they came out. Then bought the first two on the Xbox one (backwards compatible) and the '16 and the current one. Compared to the original Doom 3 on PC and now is the graphics, and more importantly, the ability to hold a flashlight and a gun at the same time.

lot so memories to share with the kids in dark hallways fighting monsters with makeshift weapons.... all day fun on a rainy day

My son and I played the game like we did many years ago except then was on a computer. Graphics were only little better then before but felt good playing the grandfather of all these type games!!! If you never played original Doom this may not be game for you as graphics nothing like they are now. Myself, I will play it again in few months.

I enjoyed this game but it is my least favorite of all the Doom games. This game tries to be a mix of survival horror and FPS. Sometimes it works other times.. not so much. Overall it is a solid game with hours of gameplay that any Doom fan would enjoy Plus it comes with DOOM 1 & 2 and it works on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

I used to own this game back when I had a 360, and was super excited when I found it at best buy- and is backwards compatible. Such a great, different doom experience. While the newer doom focuses on an action-packed feel- this one has more of a horror-action experience. Awesome game!

Good graphics, smooth gameplay & O.k. story for the price

So many memories of so many hours spent ont he classic Doom 1 & 2 and best part its still totally fun to play!! kinda cool going back to a simpler control setting, movement and maps are still awesome. just starting 3, but so far ive had lots of fun repeating the first two!!

Three classic Doom games that will play on the XBox One for $11.99 is awesome!

The Doom games have always been great, and this one is no exception. this game will give you all you look for in a shooter and keep your nerves up with all the aliens. just try not to get caught in the fire and beat as many as you can

Awesome classic fps shooter. Story is bland but the action makes up for it.

I liked that the game included ports for Doom 1 and Doom 2 as well.

I bought this game because I played the old Doom games in the past. I have heard good things about this game before when it first came out for the 360. The game play is still good but it does look dated when you play it on the Xbone.

My Kids love this game. Very entertaining for them.

Stayed true to the original and even has both doom1&2 plus the resurrection as well as bonus mission.
