Wow! All I can say is, wow! This game is completely fantastic. I can't tell you the last time, if ever, that I've had the fortune of being able to play a game where the main protagonist can say so much through action while simultaneously saying literally nothing throughout the entirety of the game. Yes, that's correct. The Space Marine aka Doom Guy never utters a single world. It's quite something the way they managed to pull that off and have it work the way it does. Ignoring that, the gameplay on its own is back to the roots of how the FPS genre started. It was truly like experiencing the original Doom for the first time. It's an utterly visceral experience that's just a blast to play. I can't recommend this game any more. I highly highly encourage you to check it out. On top of all of that, this collector's edition in particular is awesome. The statue is very well modeled and put together and the led fan on the bottom of the stand is a very nice touch. Downside? The steelbook is lazily done and is just the same on both sides with no interior art, but don't let that stop you from getting this awesome edition for an absolutely stellar game.

Admittedly this was my first Doom game I have ever played. I played the Alpha and then the multitude of closed and open betas before release. They really knocked this one out of the park, I didn't know what to expect from the campaign but it is amazing, they tweaked the multiplayer and made it even better then it was in the beta. Also the collector's edition statue is pretty awesome and lights up red like a demonic night light. Pretty legit.

If you are a true fan of Doom and played the original back in the day. This game is it right here. The collectors edition is where it's at!

This game was a surprise of how funny it was. Also the statue is downright creepy with the lights! Love it!

The game, although I am ashamed to admit i have not finished it yet, is amazing...especially for a reboot! The statue....omfg the statue. Yes. So much yes.

The beta is ridiculously fun and the Demon Rue Spawn is OP. the statue looks dope.
