When the cast includes Brendan Fraser of 'The Mummy' fame, one-time 'James Bond' Timothy Dalton and Matt Bomer of 'White Collar,' it carries some gravitas. If those three weren't in it, it would still stand alone. The characters are complex and their origins revealed painstakingly in depth but at a pleasant pace. The viewer cares about what happens to these misfits and the fantastic locales in which they find themselves. Ties to (Teen) Titans can't be overlooked and overall D.C. shows that perhaps their forte is TV instead of the big screen, as here, they weave a good yarn.

Great cast of characters, very good show to watchh

Doom Patrol offers a delightfully different take on the DC and Marvel universes. Here, you meet superheroes who humorously badmouth their whacky powers and come across more human than some of the people we know. The backstory is effortlessly introduced with the help of Mr. Nobody (what a name). Similarly, the visual tone is all over the place, but not chaotic. The stable video and balanced audio help to pull everything together. A fun watch!

I don't have cable so I pick out what might be good ones. It is an interesting cast. Kind of plodded along sometimes but still worth it.

This is not your average superhero show. These guys are Zeros that become Heroes. Note, this is an adult show, with adult humor and content. I enjoyed it on it's premier streaming service, and decided I needed to get it physically, thankfully it comes with a digital code, so I no longer have to be tied to that streaming service when ever I'd like to watch this master piece.
