    I was purchasing a double oven I was told I would have my item in a month it end up taking four months and the item.

    Incomplete Installation. Need installer to call

    Oven was too small for the cabinet. Installer Daniel did install the unit and told us to purchase a trim kit. Could not locate this through Best Buy or anywhere else. The installer did not install the bottom piece of the wall oven. He said he would come back to fix. We left 2 messages, received no reply on the first call, the second call got a "this mailbox is full". We paid $199 for this service and dont feel well served.

    Damaged Cabinets and Double Ovens. Best Buy absent

    Installer came and removed the old but didn't remove trim pieces. Jammed the new double oven in over the old trim pieces. This cause the ovens to not be flush and when they put in the screws it busted the wood of the cabinets. Notified Best Buy and they said I would have to work with XPO Logistics because they were the installer. So I have had to personally handle trying to coordinate XPO who has been to my house 5 times now as well as getting 2 different quotes to have the cabinets repaired. I know that Best Buy didn't do the install, but they vetted and hired the company that did. The fact that Best Buy washed their hands of any responsibility in fixing the damages is disheartening at the least. I doubt that I will ever purchase a large item like double ovens from Best Buy ever again, but if I do I will certainly not trust them with doing the installation.

    The installation was started, and the opening needed a 1/4" more. The on-site installer said they couldn't do this work unless I paid an additional $150 in a check immediately or I could cut the hole. They didn't even have decent tools to do this installation. After they were gone I discovered the electrical installation was not installed correctly. I called Best Buy as soon as I saw this but was told that nothing was on the record as completed and to call back in a few days as they could not resolve the issue

    It was horrible. They were 2 days late due to the technician not confirming the job or something. So I was one the phone forever trying to figure out what was going on. Then the day they actually came to install they were suppose to be there during the morning slot, but they didn’t make it until 7PM. And while they were installing he said the wire wasn’t long enough and he had to charge me more to go buy a box and labor to make it longer. On top of that they chipped my wall when they brought the oven in.

    Total stealth operation. Despite buying in the membership was charged $250 for installation that took Less than 15 mins. I even had to provide some tools needed to finish the job. No resolution yet after complaining to customer service. They even demanded to be paid in cash or check. Now i am having to buy a frame to hid their poor quality instal

    Oven has exterior defects

    The oven is bent and warped where it should not be (a photo is attached). The installer says he sees a lot of these defects on oven/microwave combinations. I cannot get Best Buy to deliver a defect-free oven to me. I bought this oven over two months ago, and I don't yet have a defect-free one installed in my house.

    Difficult & Unprofessional People

    1- Did not put on shoe cover till I insisted on bringing them from truck. Used their shoe cover inside & outside house. 2- Dropped wall oven door on floor while installing unit. No apology 3- They were arrogant, did not explain new oven functions. Just dropped papers & asked for signature & were gone.

    Damaged my front door and now trying not to compensate me for it. Also product was defective. Didn’t check to see if was working properly. Best Buy is hiring third party companies now and not standing behind their work or damage to new home.

    Perfect job !!

    This team of two were outstanding. They knew exactly what they were doing and did it professionally. The wall oven weighed 350 pounds and yet the old one was removed, and new one installed, without a hitch. No scratches anywhere.

    We purchased our kitchen Suite 3 to 4 months before the install due to limited appliance availability. The installer came with adequate equipment, Covid safety in mind and called when he was on the way. That is very much appreciated. However we were also supposed to get the microwave installed on that trip & that did not happen. I’m very disappointed with the tape and the stickers that came on the outside of the double oven that were very difficult to get off. The lettering on the tape actually left an impression on the stainless steel And I’m still picking on the Gooey stickers on the glass door. I eventually had the microwave installed by my own cabinet people, because the Best Buy installer said he couldn’t do it because of the trim. That did not end up being a problem at all for the install. I also feel like one person trying to do it by himself was not a good idea

    So Far I Like It

    I purchased this wall oven microwave combo in late August, finally got it delivered and installed on October 14, 2020! So far I like how the oven operates. I’ve tested/calibrated the oven at 350 degrees setting using two thermometers both registered at just short of the 350 degrees mark. So I guess the oven temperatures are very close to accurate. My most negative remark is that the panel is not backlit which for me would have been great on my eyes. Seeing the white writing on the black background is a little hard on my eyes and with overhead lights like I have is no help either! Also, not having a handle/knob on the microwave but a push operation to open and close the door is a negative for me especially with the black stainless steel, finger prints cause that area of the oven looks smudgy even with clean fingers and therefore constant wiping is needed to keep the oven looking good and I don’t have kids at home.

    The first installation was a nightmare from the get go. Two guys showed up to install the Oven/ Microwave One was overweight with his pants hanging off his butt. They butchered the installation and after they left I found that the oven door would not shut properly because it was not installed correctly. I couldn't even use the oven. Called Best Buy and talked to a manager who was terrific. He said he would get someone back out soon. Unfortunately the same 2 guys were sent back out. I called the manager again told him we had the same 2 back out and I didn't want them here. I put one of them on the phone and the manager told them to leave. Long story short, Best Buy ended up ordering a whole new unit and gave me a nice credit on the the appliance which helped significantly to ease the pain due to the incompetence of the installers. The manager was so nice and willing to help anyway he could and in the end made everything alright. That is why I gave Best Buy an excellent rating. BTW the gruesome twosome who installed it the first time were let go as there had been other complaints on them in addition to mine. The oven and microwave work fine and I especially like the oven.

    Almost Perfect

    The installers did an excellent job and I was happy with them. They were professional, friendly, and were good about masking up at our request. The installation went smoothly as can be with one exception that drops this to a 4 star, they missed a small plastic container that contained lubricant for the sliding racks that melted inside the cooking when it was being heated up to get rid of that new oven smell. That smell was pretty bad and required some cleaning on my end of the melted plastic, I was able to clean it up thoroughly with no issues. Otherwise, it was a good experience for us.

    These guys did a tremendous job as it took a few trips to finally get the ovens installed. We purchased them in January and shipping kept pushing back due to Covid but finally delivered in May. The went to install it but the pigtail for the electric was on the bottom and the old oven's electrical connection was at the top. (No one knew to check for this.) They told us where the electric had to be extended to and we had an electrician do so. They came out again and where they said it needed to be, still wasn't low enough. So we had an electrician return on Memorial day to extend it and scheduled their return. Now, when they went to bring in the ovens, they noticed that a part was broke and the ovens returned with new ones ordered. So we go in the ordering queue again. Finally, the new ovens arrived and the crew installed them very professionally. It was a long process but we were pleased with the installation crew. The purchase date of 6/2/21 reflects the reorder, not the original order in January.

    Double Oven Delivery Delay

    The installation was smooth and the Tech was professional. Unfortunately the oven was scheduled to arrive Friday...be installed on Monday and the old oven haul a way on Tuesday. I wasnt happy with the plan, but Ok. As it turned out i waited the 6 hours and no one showed up to deliver the oven on Friday...no one called. On Monday I called to find out the Oven didnt leave the warehouse. A tech showed up on Tues with the oven...he installed it and hauled away the same day. Best Buy made it right was a gift card for the inconvenience. The Oven works fine. Thanks Best Buy...Purchasing a new Fridge next. Hopefully it will go smoothly.

    Delivery confusion/Great installers

    took day off for install but was told the truck broke down day of delivery (Thursday) and delivery would be the following Monday. Received a call on the weekend saying the they were rescheduling for the delivery 2 more weeks out. Call center could not confirm if they were rescheduling the Friday or Monday delivery. System online showed both days as delivery days. Could not get a supervisor from the call center to answer this question. Showed up on the Monday, The installers were awesome and are the main reason that the rating is good.
