the installation services are entirely awful!!!!!! They took 3 measurements, and despite promising us that it was gonna fit, on the day of installation, they all of a sudden said they need to charge an extra 600 to readjust the product to our area. We ended up installing ourselves, and no readjustments were needed to begin with.

Works well but I wish I could turn it on and off without plugging it underneath.

Replaced cooktop and exhaust fan. New unit quieter and more efficient.

Install of my purchased appliance was seamless. Very professional installers on hand. Extremely pleased with the service provided!

Because the downdraft and cooktop are different brands they don't fit easily. They installed too tight causing the downdraft to scratch if cooktop eyes are too lose. The quarts counter probably should have be trimmed.

I would not recommend having Best Buy’s 3rd party installers do this type of work. I paid in the store for the installation of the cooktop vent. When the installation crew arrived at my house the continually pointed out “issues” that they noticed that would add to the cost. Insisting each time that the payment be cash or check, not credit card. About halfway through and two price changes in, they again asked for more money. I told them I would not pay any more and that I wanted to speak with their manager. I was told that if I didn’t pay more they would leave my cooktop, that they removed, in the middle of my kitchen floor and walk out. I will never use a third party installation company through Best Buy again.

the Installation for downdraft vent was schedule time after time and they never show up, I'm very disappointed, they make me waste my time over and over again. and now it appears that they finish the installation!!! I had to pay someone else to do it! I had no stove function for over a month until i got tired of their promises, so i pay out of my packet for the installation. I don't recommend this service.

the installer charged $250 dollars to install one 90 degree elbow after I paid for delivery and install.Same brand change out.

This product was intalled and works as expected so far.

The technician who came to install our downdraft did not know how to do it and we sent him away.

This was the third crew sent out to install. The first two said they had no clue what to do. These guys looked, talked, and thought. I had laid out the floor joist locations, and they hit the proper location exactly. A perfect installation!

The installers were very professional, courteous, and went above and beyond on the install even though they were not provided all the parts for the complete install. They worked extra to get everything to work as best as could be and kept me in the loop throughout.

This review is for the third (3) attempt. This crew figured out that there were retaining screws which kept the downdraft from raising. So. They were professional and displayed a don’t give up attitude.

We had a GE downdraft for 17 years. It finally gave out. So happy we were able to replace it with the same brand.

Down draft installation but the installer’s don’t go under the house. First installer only delivered. Second got angry. Third installer did most of the work but it doesn’t connect to outdraft. It just flows into the cabinets inside.

The technicians arrived on time. They were both friendly and professional. The installation went great and they left my kitchen in the same condition they found it.

Love the love of it ! It sometimes freezes once it’s up. Not sure if it’s a problem with installation or the product. I’ll have to call Best Buy this week.
