Rookie GM wanted to make a big splash in his first NFL Draft and he succeeds. He trades his teams entire future for the Number One Overall pick and he doesn't choose the big time rookie QB the other teams thought he would. That causes mass chaos at the top of the draft and he manages to wheel and deal his way to getting another 1st rounder, a useful player and his team's future back all in the course of less than a day. Probably could never happen with the real Browns though.

So I just loved my new video Draft Day, especially in Blu Ray. I am a big fan of Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner, both who were great in the movie. I also loved seeing Ellen Burstyn. I think this may have been one of her last movies, since she's passed away earlier this year. I also loved seeing Sean Combs in it along with Rosanna Arquette. I highly recommend this movie, and it's safe for the whole family.

This movie was a great mix of sports drama with a well written storyline. It was fun to see what goes on behind the scenes on draft day with teams and how they make some of the decisions they do. You also get a decent personal story that ties in pretty well. I say this movie is great for football fans but even my 11y/o enjoyed it. Give it a chance and you won't be sorry.

Full disclosure: I'm a Cleveland Browns fan, so naturally there's some bias involved, but this is a well-done sports film in the vein of "Moneyball" (although it doesn't quite reach the heights that film did). Kevin Costner leads a great cast as the GM of the Browns trying to deal with pressures both professional and personal leading up to the NFL draft. Not superb, but entertaining and enjoyable.

I heard from a friend that this was a good movie so I took a chance and loved it. It was very insightful on what a draft day might be like and the stress that could go along with it. Also thrown in was the moral dilemma about doing what one thinks is right or what is popular with everyone else. I didn't have any idea of all that could go into a draft day.

I've always enjoyed Costner in his sports related movies. Though not on par with his classics Bull Durham, Field of Dreams or Tin Cup, Draft Day is still a very good movie. I am a huge NFL fan though and could easily see someone with no interest in the NFL or the draft enjoying this. I would liken this movie to Moneyball, but with football this time. If you enjoyed that one, check it out.

I got this movie for my husband for Christmas - he probably had already seen it about seven times, but he seriously loves this movie. I'm pretty sure that if he could watch it every week he would do it. If you have ever been a fan of fantasy football, it is definitely a cool movie. It's not the best movie ever made or anything but it is certainly enjoyable - I enjoyed it too!

I try to go to a movie one a week and this movie happened to be on that week. Didn't see any other movie that I wanted to see so I bought a ticket. Turned out better than I expected and was why I bought the DVD. If you don't mind Kevin Costner playing Kevin Costner then I think you will enjoy this movie. It doesn't have much football in it.

Costner scores a touchdown with this movie. The best true to life sports movie i've ever seen. Add Draft Day to Costner's classics Field of Dreams, Bull Durham & Tin Cup!!! Kevin Costner gives us a rare behind the scenes look at the world of professional football few have the chance to see. If you are a pro football fan then this is a must see movie!!!

I watched this movie with my husband because he loves football and I was amazed at how much I loved it too. There was a great story and it was easy to get excited about what was happening even for those who don't love football as much. My husband also loved it. We bought it so that we can have family and friends over to watch together.

Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner are wonderful together in this great story about a football draft day. It's a unique inside look at the drafting process and a fascinating story, even for those of us who don't follow the sport as closely. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed it and had to ad the film to our collection!

My 14-year-old son asked for two movies this year for Christmas, and one of the was "Game Day". Since opening "Game Day" on Christmas morning, my son has watched it twice. He loves the story itself, and he loves the themes that are tucked into the storyline: teamwork, hard work, and a love for what one does makes all the difference.

Draft Day is a day in the life of an NFL General Manager on, you guessed it, Draft Day. Weaving between deals and trades, Kevin Costner shows the stresses of trying to rebuild a team but also remain faithful to the people he cares about. I definately recommend this popcorn flick about the business of Football.

I was worried that this movie was not going to be good at all but that changed after I started watching it. Kevin Costner delivers a great performance. This movie is definitely a enjoyable movie. I would say its not as good as Money Ball but this one is still a great movie. I would recommend anyone to pick this up if they enjoy these types of movies.

Draft day is about what the Nfl goes through to draft players. The movie has a great cast with kevin costner as Cleveland Gm and Denis Leary as head coach.. the movie goes into great details behind drafting, the movie strong point is emotions it takes to make the right choice and make your team a winner.. highly recommended

This movie gives you great insight to the behind-the-scenes and workings of any NFL team. Invincible, Rudy, and leather heads are some of my other favorite football movies. But this one is quickly becoming my favorite. The cast is great, the storyline is a little thin, but still it is very entertaining!

Every major actor seems to get a full run of roles, some better than others but Costner never fails at making good sports movies and this one is certainly no exception. Some of the supporting roles don't deliver their full potential but you'll be happy you invested the time in watching this movie for a good evening's entertainment.

Great sports movie that shows the behind the scenes of building a NFL team albeit there is structural things wrong with the storyline on how the draft actually works but it will get you in the feels!

A very enjoyable movie; if you are a Kevin Costner fan, you will like this movie. If you like his previous sports movies, this is another movie worth seeing. I'm glad this movie still surprised me; apart from what I thought the movie was going to be from watching the previews. This one is worth seeing.

This was a great look at how the draft comes around and all of the things that can go on behind the scenes. Jennifer Garner does a really good job in her role as a part of running the front office along with Kevin Costner. For true NFL fans, you will like some of the cameos they put in for us.
