Sam Raimi does it again. Scary, funny, great story line.

I thought this was a scary and jumpy movie for a PG

Was looking for a horror movie to add to my DVD collection of horror movies I have already, plus I was able to price match the item as well to get it at a great price.

I'm being generous cuz I like some of the Evil Deadish and Spider-Manish things but no REAL practical gore or blood.

This movie has a lot of jump scares, which are typical nowadays for horror movies, but all-in-all, a decent movie.

You gotta love Sam Raimy. He and his brother wrote this together and it is one strange film. If you've ever heard "premise promise", this delivers. "A loan officer ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, which turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point." -IMDB A film that will make you laugh, and not take it seriously, until the end. This movie starts out interesting and finishes the same. I think that this is a movie that will be watched enough to enjoy it another time after time. Buy it if you like halloween or Jason. If you like the ORPHAN, Paranormal Activity,and The Unborn... This is the movie for you! Enjoy...

Sam Raimi goes back to his roots following an extended stay in blockbuster land with the Spider-Man films. maybe a little toned down from the Evil Dead days, but he still puts Alison Lohman through her paces.

Brilliant film scary and funny. The bluray transfer is top notch and the dts hd master audio will cause the neighbours to drag you straight to the council for noise affray, if you have a amp and surround speaker system. Play loud and enjoy the ride

Decent plot, good acting and cast. Sam going back to his roots of fun horror flicks.

i saw this movie when it was in theaters. the beggining was corny the middle was good and the end was corny. it made me jump a few times. but i think overall it was a very good movie.

I thought the movie was good, but I really expected the unrated version to include more. Possibly alternate endings, scenes that could not be viewed in the PG-13 version.

A great return to the horror genre for director Sam Raimi, but it could've been better.
