4 Stars for the game itself, 1 star for Best Buy and their support on the situation.
Game did not come with the preorder code as advertised, support provided scripted responses that provided no help and stated there was nothing they could do.

Happy to have the game in hand, but haven't received the pre-order bonus code whatsoever. Customer service wouldn't do anything, claimed it was Sony's problem and hung up on me. Another bad customer service experience in the books.

Honestly, really enjoyable. The most fun combat I've experienced in DA. I understand a lot of long-term fans are a bit disappointed with the tone and story, but it's still a really fun game to play with solid controls and mechanics. The low price is just the cherry on top.

honest review .. i loved ALL the dragon age games . but this one is jsut differnt it dont feel like dragon age it jsut has dragon age elements ...it feels like the game Wo Long ..meets dragonage .. its not open world .. honesly i played it 10 hours now and im selling my copy of the game no desire to play or finish story sadly .. dragon age used to catch me and wow me all of them .. in there own way .. this here is a fail .. granted its not a bad game its jsut not like any of the others and in my opinion a HUGE downgrade from dragon age inquistion ..get it on sale or wait a lil while it willl be dirt cheap.
Not the worst game, but the worst Dragon Age game.

I so badly wanted this game to be good! I really enjoyed the other three, even the second one, which before now was the weakest in the series. Unfortunately, the writing really brings drags Veilguard down, the companions are not great, and the combat, while passable, doesn't feel like Bioware or Dragon Age. The writing is the worst part. I can enjoy a game with bad graphics and clunky controls, as long as the narrative is there, but Veilguard missed the mark big time. I thought I was used to being disappointed by Bioware, but this one hurt.

Veilguard is better than people give it credit. It’s definitely way more polished than Inquisition. The combat is MUCH better. The traveling and world design is more focused. The character creaction is better. The world is more interesting.
Pre-ordered the day before release, excited to sta

Only 45 minutes in- the customization in this game is insane (though the facial features are styled a bit and not necessarily realistic.)
My pick up experience was fine, though i did order curbside then learned once i parked that i had to go inside-not a big deal.
I know some people here are complaining that they didnt get a pre-order code, which i preordered the deluxe game so i got a code that covered the deluxe stuff as well as something else which i assume is the pre-order bonus stuff
Granted, i pre-ordered the day before because I learned Amazon hadn't shipped the game yet and so I cancelled that order. Best buy actually had $5 off the game and a $10 best buy gift card for my order so that was cool for me.
Waited 14 years for this to come out so im ready to get started!

Bought this digitally but don’t listen to the haters who have never played a Bioware game before. This is more action focused combat but the writing and characters are the same Bioware you’ve known and loved.

Bugs everywhere, crashes constantly, tries to push woke movement ideology thay destroys families. Graphics look like theyre from windows 1995. Do not buy.

Mediocre standalone title. Horrible Dragon age game. No long s dark fantasy. Simply A "feel good" ego stroking HR approved train wreck. So glad I didn't spend money on this. Thanks for the free copy. RIP Bioware. Truley wish this could have been a "Return to form",
Played 17hours and couldn't do it anymore.

Got this game as a gift for Christmas game was horrible badly writen and visually ugly. Those are not even the worst things about this game. I wished I never opened it and returned this tripe. Wished I could give it no stars.
