So lately I've been watching the Japanese version every Saturday or Sunday so I decided time to finally get more of an understanding so i bought this and trust me no regrets the only downside is when Beerus is close to destroying the Earth that part is actually in the Part2 well I guess time to build up my DVD collection :)

I bought this to be a Christmas present and had to grab it on Christmas Eve in my family's city of residence an hour away from my town. I had to call around and get a person on staff to check in store to find it because stock was low enough that online (and automated phone service) wouldn't say if stores had it or not. It was worth it though. Its the opening set of episodes from the most recent series (2018) on Blu-ray format. The packaging was pretty cool and very informative about the content. The recipient was thrilled because they are a big DBZ fan and hadn't been able to watch any of the Super series yet.

have had a hard time finding these, luckily best buy has my back for a little while longer.

I have watched every Dragonball episode in existence. I would say the Dragonball Super is not as bad as some of the harshest critics are saiyin. lol. I would recommend any fan at least give it a watch. So far I am enjoying it. Its better than GT.

Bought Dragon Ball Z Super parts 1, 2 and 3 movies for my son. He said they were awesome! He recommends all 3. We will continue purchasing them until we have them all. He cant wait to get 4 & 5 when Goku Black makes his appearance. Thumbs up!!

The animation quality is much better than DBZ for obvious reasons, but it really does make a difference. Some people may argue that subtracts the style of Dragon Ball, but I disagree. I think this is exactly Dragon ball needed!

As I said this series is a “must see” for any and all DBZ fan. A mix of raw and divine powers with mega strong antagonists and gods. It takes place after the buu saga.

What else can I say? You either know what this is or you don't. It was in the correct definition, and at a better price than the bundled product on Amazon.

The series has multiple discs, and due to a lack of availability, I could only get 4 for my friend. He is very happy with them. My only issue is the price per Blu-Ray DVD...it would be great of they did a set (and it were available at Best Buy)! A set at a reduced price would be fantastic and a great idea (I would probably get it!)

This is a awesome series for anyone that loves watching Dragon Ball, I grew up watching the Dragon Ball series back when it was on Cartoon Networks Toonomi.

Dragon Ball Super is styled as a semi-sequel to Dragon Ball Z. Technically, it takes place during a ten-year gap that occurs in the last few episodes of Dragon Ball Z. It originally aired in Japan beginning in the summer of 2015. The dub started airing on Cartoon Network in January of 2017. Dragon Ball Super is a fun, if flawed, show. It has plenty of callbacks for fans of Dragon Ball Z, and a strong dub make this release worth checking out. EPISODE CONTENTS For those who have not followed Dragon Ball lately, Dragon Ball Super begins with two sagas that retell and expand the stories of two very recent Dragon Ball Z movies, "Battle of Gods" and "Resurrection F." This set contains episodes 1-13, which is most of the Battle of Gods story arc. Episode 14 is the conclusion of that arc, but it is being held off until Part Two. While fans may be annoyed at this omission, in fairness to Funimation, 13-episode sets are pretty standard for anime, and for a long-running series like Dragon Ball Super (which currently has more than 100 episodes), breaking it into 13-episode releases is generally the norm.

My son collects Dragon Ball movies, Avengers etc. Best Buy has never failed me each time I look for movies that he does not have. Thank you!

Didn't know there was a level beyond Super Saiyan 3, who better to bring it out than a Destroyer. Great instances of ironic humor too

Expanding my collection and enjoy all DB super saga, so I absolutely enjoy part 1 a lot. Great quality and not bad of a price.

My whole family loves to watch this series. We always patiently wait for the episodes to be released. Glad to have them on dvd.

A great start to a great show. Although you do have to buy the next part to see the end of the fight focused in this part.

I love the entire DBZ saga, collecting Super is a must. Great price also sales person that help me was into DBZ too.

For the dbz fans you will not be disappointed when you get this. Little slow start I g out but a pretty good fight scene.

It is pretty well an extended version of the battle of gods movie, but goes more in depth for the character of beerus

We've been fans of DBZ from the beginning. Some episodes are a little dull, but overall this is great action
