Can't stop playing. Even the "tutorials" (lessons that show you how to be badass) are fun. You feel like you are living in the world of DB. Combat can be simple for beginners but if you dig in you will find it challenging but worth it. You can customize your powers according to your style. My fav DB games were on the ps2 and this didn't dissapoint, actually its even better.

Looks and plays great in handheld/docked mode, tons of awesome moments from DBZ history to nerd out over, great combat with lots of customization but is pretty grindy, missions get repetitive and aren't well designed (it's typically beat up these guys and nothing past that) Overall great game, and would recommend for DBZ fans. A Solid 7

I was initially worried that this game would run slow with the FPS reduction on the switch, but it wasn't a problem for me. I logged over 100+ hours and still play it everyday. What makes this game special compared to the rest is that it's one of the few games that has an open world type feel. You can walk around and challenge other players in real time.

I haven't had the game long, but since best buy wants me to review now, I've enjoyed what I've played so far. Not a big fan of the show but I wanted a good online game and this helps that itch. I enjoy the fighting system. Offers motion controls but I have not given it a try. Got this on sale and it appears to be well worth the price. ($20)

Xenoverse 2 makes the first game feel like a demo. Everything's scale and polish is upped and its action-MMORPG style is quite addictive. The Switch version is the definitive addition. Not only can you play portable (which works very well for such a large game), the removal of the gray filter make this look better too, in my opinion. 30fps as opposed to 60, which may be a disappointment for hardcore players, but its steady in combat so it's a smooth experience. Lastly, if you got this game early (or if you buy one of the DLC bundles now), you can play the first game's story. This is the Xenoverse game to own on the platform to own it. Great fun, loads of content.

You're finally able to create your own character in the Dragon Ball universe and play around in it. The switch version of the game seems to be a rather rushed port however and has a pretty low resolution and is only 30fps. If that doesn't bother you then go ahead and get it. It's the only portable version at least.

I have a ps4, but never got around to playing or buying this game on it. However, I finally got around to picking it up on black Friday and I got to say it was worth every penny. Even though the story is basically a rehash of xenoverse 1 it is still fun to play. It has a big hub city and gameplay improvements.

I bought 3 copies of this game. One on PS4 and two copies on Switch when it was on sale. I love this game it is amazing fun for DBZ fans. You cant beat 20 bucks for this game. Hopefully this is one step closer for Bandai to put DB Fighterz on the handheld. Handheld mode the game plays great for a game that is also on the PS4.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for the Nintendo Switch is the exact same game you would find on PS4 or XBOX One. Only this time you can have it on the go, something that is a plus because this game requires a lot of your time. It would make a good edition to any Nintendo Switch owners' game library.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was a massive game on other platforms and is even bigger on the Switch. Its not just for dbz fans but for everyone to enjoy, Since there are not many games on the switch other than breath of the wild and mario cart, this was probably one of my favorite so far on the switch.

Dragonball Xenoverse 2 was a game I had moderate expectations for. I loved the animated series, and was a bit skeptical about it. It blew me away, however, and I'm happy to say I could recommend this to fans of the series, and people willing to try a new twist on fighting games.

I love DBZ and have played a majority of the games growing up. Xenoverse 2 is an excellent arena fighter, adding numerous iconic characters from the DBZ IP that series fans will love to play as. With the DLC, the roster is huge and has loads of gameplay in the form of quests and uniqe online missions. However, if you are coming from Xenoverse 1, most of the fights will seem repetitive, though the addition of fights from DB Super are in this game and add something new to the story. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an arena fighter styled game for the Switch
