I enjoyed the first Dragon Quest Heroes and this one is no different. If you're a Dragon Quest fan you will love this game.

Take dynasty warriors and paint it with Dragon Quest and you have a game that will satisfy your hack and slash needs and RPG itch.

Better than the first, if you're a fan of the Dragon Quest series and the Warriors games then this is for you!

I loved the first game, I always like when they take the dynasty warriors gameplay and throw in characters from other games or animes.

It's Dynasty Warriors gameplay but with all the familiar faces and sounds of Dragon Quest. Good clean fun.

The original Dragon Quest Heroes is one of my top 10 favorite games ever. This sequel continues with the same gorgeous art style which is one of the industry standards, but fails to capture the charm of the original. Like many movie sequels, it felt too much like the original, including not enough new characters. Still a great experience, but I barely remember a fight from this one, while the first is forever burned into my memory.

This is an excellent game for people who enjoyed DQ heroes, the dragon quest series, or fans of massive hack em up games.

This game, created by Omega Force in the fashion of a Musou/Warriors game, leaves a lot to be desired. It forgoes any attempt at a massive roster for a smaller, more detailed playable cast but falls short of its intended mark. Many characters feel and play similarly, getting boring quickly. Dragon Quest Heroes, as a series, also banks on nostalgia and recognizable characters to draw interest. However, many Dragon Quest games did not initially make it to North America and the DS family remakes did not receive enough acclaim to be easily available. For the most part, the nostalgia factor will go to waste considering how few have played the Dragon Quest games which have characters featured here. All-in-all, the hack-n-slash gameplay is fun for a while but the game is too shallow to be worth purchasing at a retail price. I'd recommend whatever the most recent Samurai or Dynasty Warriors game is. Those will have more content and a better story than Dragon Quest Heroes II.

If your a fan of Dragon Quest you will enjoy this game even if your not a fan of the Dynasty Warriors style of games

Gameplay for DQH 2 seems a little better than the first game and all the classic characters makes it even better.

I remember playing the original years ago on NES and although it's different, just as much fun.

If you enjoy the Dragon Quest universe and musou games, then you will like this game.
