    The definitive edition improves on everything of the original release except for graphics. It would have been great to have this based on the PS4 version, but that would requirement more dev time. Also, there's Japanese audio, which is needed for those who did not like the localized names.

    A great classic style RPG. Simple but satisfying combat system. Would be a great place to start if you’re new to the genre or just not that familiar with it.

    Long time DQ fan and finally we’re getting the features exclusive on Nintendo Switch previously in a better version. If played on a PS4 Pro or PS5 the game can be played at 60fps in 4K. Looks and feels great!

    This game was fun to begin with. Now it's even more. The additions are awesome. If you're a DQ fan or a RPG fan, you're sure to enjoy this one. Find a good walkthrough on a website and give yourself hours of joy.

    The Definitive Edition provides quality of life changes that enriches the game while adding new character stories. The biggest plus is the new orchestrated music that flows throughout the game.

    This is a very long game. The main character has no name which is annoying but it's been this way for every dragon quest. I didn't really enjoy the story but I did end up putting over 100 hrs into the game.

    All the bonus content is included on the disc. If only more companies followed suit dlc vouchers would be a thing of the past.

    Even if you own the original DQ11 its worth it for 20 buck at its current price just for the 2D version.
