Being a huge monster movie fan, I got all excited when I first saw the trailers for this movie. They showed these dragons attacking the city and the military initiating a full-scale attack. Little did I know that action would only encompass maybe ten minutes tops. The rest of the film is just a mishmash of nonsense -- part Harry Potter/part Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon/part Anaconda (only with worse special effects). Nothing in this movie makes sense. Period.

My wife bought this movie for me because i love dragon and sci fi movie but this movie was the absolut worst movie i have ever seen in my life. Everything from the acting to the special effects were bad. Instead of the big screen it should have been on the sci fi channel at 1am. Save yourself the trouble and don't buy this movie, don't even rent it."

I LOVE dragons and dragon movies, and I'm a big fan of sci-fi and monster movies, too, so this seemed totally perfect to check out. My sister, father and I went to see it in theaters on it's opening weekend, and the fact that there were only about 5 other people there with us should have given fair warning. The acting was bad enough, but the plot is chopped up, scattered, poorly constructed and just plain lame. Finally, near the end of the film, some CG action began to take place, but it was mortifying. The creatures are well-constructed, but their animations are just terrible. Fun part was a dinosaur walking into mist / smoke, and instead of fading into it, appears to walk on it up into the sky. After that, about 10 minutes of wordless shrieking occurs, including the giant "Dragons" (big CG snakes, really) just hissing and screeching. When it was finally over, we thought it had been 3 hours, but only about an hour and a half. It's the only movie I have ever wanted to walk out of. It's hard to really enjoy even as just a "Bad Movie" movie. Avoid unless you are masochistic.

I buy movies to watch the special effects, and hopefully they have a story line. This has a few minutes of special effects, but it cannot decide if it is Star Wars, Transformers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, the story line is so chopped up it is a major effort not to get up and walk out. As for the actual Dragon wars, it should be titled Andaconda vs Dragon for one very short scene. This movie is just bad, no other way to describe it.

will this movie has good graphics, but it looks like it was made poorly I recommend you to watch it if there is nothing else to watch.

me and my friend went to go see this movie. it looked like it would be a good movie concept. you know when you see a bad movie you start to laugh at it.. this was so bad we just sat there and prayed it would end... i ended up walking out of the movie cuz the DRAGON CRIED!!! thats right, a killer dragon cried cuz someone died. dont waste you time even thinking about seeing this. trust me... A DRAGON CRIED

mixed old-myth & sci-fi make good entertainment material

this movie wasn't the best,but it is the best giant monster movie since Godzilla 1998.Although the effects did need some work.Also the film is called Dragon Wars,they didn't even breath fire.The creatures were the only thing holding this movie together.

I was waiting for this movie to come out on DVD. I am a fan of Dragon movies such as Dragon slayer, Dragonheart & Eragon. This is a big budget movie with very bad story line, Bad acting, unknown actors very disappointing. Kids will probably like it. The effects is okey.

This movie was poorly costructed. Dialogue sucks. Graphics Suck. Acting..... SUCK! seriously dont even waste the money.

The acting is bleh... the actors is bleh... story line is bleh... the only thing that was really having me stay and watch was the monster scenes... Other than that, it's bleh. Great Monster Movie! Definitely recommend if you just love monsters destroying cities...

Overall it is nice family movie... The Visuals were excellent as well as the acting.

Very good Movie, Highly recommended to anyone. Furry Fandom fans will love it.
