If you are mad about Dragon Ball GT and you loved Dragon Ball Z then you will love Battle of the Gods because it makes GT non-canon, and is a wonderful movie full of inside jokes, and the combat that you expect. Not to mention it's the only time you get to see Vegeta REALLY make a fool out of himself. Highly recommend it.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods is a great movie. For anyone who is a fan of the more whimsical style of the original Dragon Ball then this movie will give them what they want in spades. The more action oriented content of the later Dragon Ball Z series is less prominent in this movie, which can be a turn of for some fans.

The story is nothing different than what you would expect. New super powerful enemy, Goku gets beat by said enemy, and then proceeds to push himself beyond the limits to save the world. The difference here is that Beerus the Destroyer is an excellent antagonist. He dominates the movie with his sheer personality.

Was worried at first about this movie because I knew the voice actors would be different, but they still did a great job and even sound similar to the original people. Loved this movie because it stayed true to the comical yet serious fighting theme in the originals. Can't wait to watch the next one!

As a DBZ fan it was nice to see all my favorites back. It was filled with humor and intense fight scenes. However certain parts felt forced and just a little to convenient. Also it was disappointing to see Veggeta, once again, reduced to a humor tactic. He has one scene where you got to see the power of the prince but it was overshadowed by the previous mentioned facts.

This is the best anime ever! grew up watching this and I am glad to see it on blu ray and consolidated into discs versus having about 90 VHS tapes crowding the shelf. Thumbs up! This movie was done with today's anime technology and without the nostalgia of living up to the true DBZ nature and purity.

DBZ Battle of Gods hearkens back to the more comedic tone of Dragonball while still retaining the DBZ feel and fights. The seamless blend of both 2D and 3D animation in glorious 1080p brings a whole new life into the beloved characters than never before. A definite must have for all Dragonaball fans.

I'm not big on Anime movies, but this one sets a new precedence for DBZ movies, which in the last have had no relevance on the true DBZ story. This one sets a new launching point for future movies or potentially another series.

love this movie saw it online and wanted to own it but ever store I went to didn't have it this is a great movie if your a dragonball z fan you have to add this movie to your collection what's great about it the animation and story what's not so great super saiyan god form was a let down

The long awaited return of Goku & friends pays off beautifully with the inclusion of cool new characters, long forgotten associates & an epic battle. All the humor & action any DB fan could want. The first season of Dragon Ball Super compressed to 90 minutes.

Dragon ball! This show would never get old. Movie was good but you can tell some of the animations are toned down, like they stopped caring. The music doesn’t go with whatever is happeneing at some moments, but common man ITS DRAGON BALL BRO!!

This was a great film to watch! Although there are differences compared to the version from Dragon Ball Super, nonetheless, still a great movie! If you've been following the series since Dragon Ball, or you're new to it, a definite "must see"!!!

Dragonball Z still lives on thankfully they ignore Dragonball GT in this and continue after the buu saga and for those of us that this is no disappointment I think old-time Dragonball Z fans will not be disappointed with this move and there still two more to come

Good movie for young teens. Not really my kind of movie. Would be good for kids if it didn't have mild swear words. I would probably recommend this movie to my friends if they had young teens and they we into Japanese anime. Overall it was an OK movie to pass the time.

If your a fan of dragon ball z or just anime in general then this movie is definitely for you. The movie itself just amazing, it brings back memories of old dragon ball z cartoons with better animation. There's no doubt that you should buy this movie!!

I wasn't able to see this in theaters, so was pretty excited for it to come out on dvd. DBZ always has the issue of needing more and more powerful villains and heroes, so I'm not exactly sure where they're going to go after "god mode", but I still enjoyed the movie.

While not as action packed as other DBZ movies, it makes up for it with how funny it is. This is a great movie for the hardcore DBZ fans out there and new fans a like. Both Kids and adults will be laughing at these well written joke and enjoy the amazing animation

My only thing with this game is I thought online play would have moving players but they are all stand-still players and you can't really move and have fun with other players. I suppose they did this to lower the FPS for the game and to have online play smoother. I only play this game for the story because I love the DBZ storyline but other than that the game is just okay. Great for DB fans.

My nephew loved this present that was on his Christmas. Hard to find in every other store, but Best Buy had a good supply the week before Christmas and the Order Pick Up at the store made it quick to get ahold of this movie.

I was a bit late to the party, but Battle of Gods is a fun movie and unmistakably classic DBZ. If you're a fan of the current Super series that is airing, you owe it to yourself to see how the story line really goes. Check it out.
