This season set comes with 38 episodes and it was only $19. This is the last season of DBZ. If you're a DBZ fan then I recommended buying this set.

An end to such a great series, not as good as some of the earlier seasons, but really good nonetheless!

I have been watching Dragon Ball and all of its iterations since I was about 5 years old. I love it, I love the action, I love the characters, and I love the plot. Sure there are better animes with better stories and better animation, but you would be hard pressed to find one that influenced and opened the eyes of the western world to anime and all of its glory. Dragon ball was what got most young adults my age hooked and it continues to provide enjoyment to this day.

Not the best season of DBZ but still cant go wrong in my opinion.

Classic anime of all time and the best series of dragon ball

I bought this in a fit of nostalgia when I saw it in store, and I do not regret it. The dubs are great. You will get English audio w/ Japanese music, English w/ U.S. broadcast music, and Japanese audio w/ Japanese music. You will also get the marathon option to play all episodes without pause. This set was everything I expected and I think most people will be happy with it as well.

I purchased this season 9 of 9 at the same time I bought season 8. Currently I'm on disc 2 of season 8. Safe to say that if you've followed the series to this point there is no way on earth you'll pass up the series curtain call set. Majin Buu is a extremely deadly foe for our Z Fighters. He's charasmatic, funny, and vicious. I highly recommend this series ending set.

The last season of Dragonball Z is one of the best. The Z Warriors are faced with one of their most toughest foes in Buu. This season picks up with Super Buu. All the characters bring something to the table in this season and all the crazy fights that happen are just intense and need to be relived for any Dragonball fan.

My husband loves all things DBZ. He had the original collection on DVD, but wanted to upgrade them to BluRays. He only needed seasons 7-9 to complete his BluRay collection, and he was thrilled to receive this. I'm thankful to have been able to find this season available at Best Buy.

im just glad that they released these on blu ray. Every single episode ever made with both japanese and english language and music. Whats even better is the fact that all episodes have been fitted in 9 volumes! A great one up compared to 6 years ago when i had over 60 discs on shelf.

Dragon ball z is such a classic manga and to be adapted into a animated show and mind you it's been out since the 80's! And to still be loved by the younger generation is testament to the show on how good it is! I'm such a fan of dbz I definitely recommend it

Dragon Ball Z is a great show that definitely holds up. The animation for its time is great. However, this is the funimation dub, and the aspect ratio is zoomed. So if you do not like that, don't buy it. If you don't mind it, then you won't regret it.

This is a good product and has exceeded my expectations. Not only can you watch the TV shows in the Japanese version (English voices) but you have the upgraded cartoon network version as well. The disks contain unedited scenes not shown on television plus you have the option of watching it in marathon mode without having to watch the opener a multitude of times. The marathon setting allows you to smoothly flow from episode to episode like it was a 3:30 movie. Additionally there is the option of subtitles.

i love the dragon ball show and i will get all the season to complete the set, however i decided to collect the blu ray format just to find out it doesnt really look high def, there is no different on the standard version and this one, i still bought it

This is by far the best thing I've purchased brings back tons of memories and also has a marathon play to continue playing episodes without stopping!! Still need to collect the other seasons! Just wished Best Buy carried them in store!

Awesome set, would be even better if there was an option for the original 4:3 ratio. Great feature that there is a marathon feature for nonstop playback. This a great addition for any DBZ fan or anime enthusiasts alike.

The final season of one of the best shows of all time. I finally have every episode on collection it looks good for the time frame that it was made

This may not be the final time we see Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray, but for not this is the best way to complete the series. The cropping is an issue, but honestly it could be a lot worse. For the price, it is very acceptable.

Dragon ball Z season 9 has got to be in the top 3 seasons in all of Dragon Ball Z !!! You get Vegito, Gotenks SSJ3, Making Buy, Mystic Gohan! Ugh the list goes in of memorable characters and transformations!
