Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray! Unfortunately, like many of Funimations other releases of Dragon Ball Z this release is also cropped. However, this time it was cropped using pan-and-scan cropping, which is a better method. The remastering process is somewhat mixed. It gives the video quality a very modified look but it still looks pretty good. Overall, this is a pretty good release and probably the best release the American version of the show will ever get.

This was a christmas gift for my brother & the first thing he said was "This is one of the greatest japanime of all time". Then he said "Thank you". Lol. So, according to him, you MUST go out & buy this now.

It’s season 9 of DBZ. If you’re looking at this page you already know exactly what it is. The blu ray set is of great quality. There’s no reason not to pick this up.

The official end to DBZ and it goes out with a bang for sure. Though Super retconned the ending just a bit it still holds up and is enjoyable

I bought this and another DBZ because i wanted to relive my childhood and in an HD fashion, so it only made sense to buy it, and it was an even better purchase than i expected.

You get SSJ3 Goku, the first ever fusion (Gotenks), the fusion of Vegeta and Goku, the most incredible villain in the universe, Buu, and Hercule himself! This season is incredible

I watch it when I was a kid but never had the chance to finish the series. The blue-ray disc was a nice touch because it enhance the series to a whole new level.

This is the best anime ever! grew up watching this and I am glad to see it on blu ray and consolidated into discs versus having about 90 VHS tapes crowding the shelf. Thumbs up!

this is by far the best version of the series released in the us. nice colors, transfer and its in 1080p. if youre a dbz fan you dont need this review, just get it

Finally I have the last season of dragon ball z! Now I could watch all of them anytime I want! I recommend this season!

I purchased this because the majin buy saga is my favorite of the DBZ show. I love the ability to chain watch episodes without having to manually switch episodes.

This was a birthday gift to my son, who has been a Dragon Ball Z fan since he was in grammar school. The features on the blu-ray make this a worth while purchase.

Pleased to see the rest of the DBZ series. I didn't get season 7 and should have, that would have completed my collection from beginning to end. I love anime !!!!

If it wasn't for the release of the series on blu ray. I would never have known how it ends. Kinda sad but i still have dragon ball GTV to look forward to

There is no way better to end a great saga by ending it against kid buu....A amzing rivalry between himself and goku and an epic battle to go with it....

Loved Dragonball Z Growing up so I am glad to own the Blu-Ray, the transfer is excellent and the coloring is very sharp! I definitely recommend these sets.

I'm so glad that these dbz seasons are finally on blu ray. The picture and sound are so much better than on my old dvd volumes. Definitely worth the buy

This is dragon Ball z, what else do I need to say? I love the face that I can use the original Japanese music and English dub, a great overall package.

i bought all 9 seasons on blu ray and don't regret it. I've watched the series many times before but watching again in blu ray makes it seem fresh.
