This is a great remastering of the PS3 release. The steelbook is embossed and is a real eye-catcher. A great collector's piece for anyone that enjoys physical media. The game itself is a fun beat-em up with light RPG elements. There is a good cast of characters to select from, each with their own play style. The itemization and leveling up aspects are pretty surface level, but they give you something to grind if that is your particular brand of fun. The game is significantly more enjoyable if you have a friend to play with as it supports both local and online play. My only complaints are in regards to level design. The levels are short and clock in around only 10-15 minutes on average. There is no option play mission back-to-back without going to town. This leads to lots of down time in town doing all the chores of traditional RPGs.

Game looks really great on PS4 on 1080i, really nice watercolor painted art style. You can import your save from PS3 and your character with all their weapons and armor, really nice feature to pick up where you left off.

what can i say i love it on ps3 and to be able to replay it again on ps4 upgraded is so sweet multiplayer was upgraded way easier to find people to play with awesome characters sweet soundtrack and beautifull combos

Got the gourmet edition for a steal with the sweet hard case, can't go wrong there. This game is a majestic tweak on the old school hack and slash with some treasure hunting and team play front and center to take out the harder enemies. I'm a fan of the art style in general, though I am hesitant to bring my 11-yr old son in to play due to the bountiful...assets on the female characters. And you'll want them on your team since they're equally awesome. So at least for now the local multiplayer is limited for me...bottom line, enjoyed it on the PS3, this version is great for those that haven't yet played it or those with a nostalgic hankering for the side-scrolling beat 'em up!

This is an outstanding update to the original release on the PS3 and Vita. I would highly recommend that PS4 users pick this one up for the sheer overall polish added to the game.

I love that they made this for the PS4. It was a favorite for PS3 and the PS Vita. From graphics to story to character options you will have a great time playing this game.

Really well done. Updated graphics and audio are gorgeous. Your PS3 and/or PS Vita save file will carry over, too. Lots of fun. The steelbook looks fantastic in person.

I was expecting more changes with Dragon's Crown Pro, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they kept the same gameplay and story. It is really the same game as the ps3.

The art and style is lush and amazing. When I knew this was coming from Vita to ps4 pro it was a sure day one purchase. Amazing art, graphics and gameplay. Mandatory purchase!

Awesome art style, reminds me of the old school beat em ups I use to play in the 90’s Definitely a fun game, can’t go wrong if your into beat em ups.

The steelbook is the best I've seen. Very detailed and has depth to the characters. The games art is beautiful. Very happy this got a PS4 release

Do you miss the halcyon days of the arcade with a cornucopia of beat 'em ups and hack 'n' slash games as far as the eye could see? Do you wish somebody would make a River City Ransom game but in a fantasy world? Dragon's Crown Pro is the game for you! If you've played the game before on either the PS3 or PS Vita, you know what to expect. It does look better in 4K, but as far as gameplay goes, there's nothing new. If you don't already own one of the previous versions, this is an amazing 2D hack 'n' slash that we don't see enough of these days.

This was a must own on Vita and now with the 4K visuals and smoother gameplay it’s a no brained. Any game Atlus puts out is a masterpiece.

It's like playing a painting. The graphics are hand painted. Story and combat is engaging. Great remaster. This is the version to own.

I love the art style of Vanillaware games. Even looks better now that it's ported to the PS4. The game is a classic beat-em-up.

Great game with excellent graphics & gameplay. It supports coop local multiplayer so I've been playing this with my son.

I really liked the original game, and this is more of the same but prettier. Doesn't go above and beyond at all, which is unfortunate since the same company did Odin Sphere Leifdrasir which was an amazing remaster.
