Just amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is amazing and I haven't even really gotten into it yet. It's a library of games (user created) and an intuitive game creation toolbox all in one. My 13 year old was already creating game elements a few hours after she opened it. The tutorials break it down to where game design novices (like us) can still go in and make something really cool. The game library is also really fun. Content is uploaded daily by users who have created their own games. So many things to choose from.

So many possibilities
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have you ever dreamed of making your own video game well now you can. Dream it you can make it in dreams I’m not kidding it turns your dreams into a reality. The possibilities are endless this game never gets old because of everything that you can do just go online and look some videos up but you won’t be let down with this purchase. I bought it for my ten year old daughter to teach her what she’s capable of creating. Not disappointed she won’t stop playing it.

Creativity Abounds!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am just getting my feet wet, going through all the tutorials, as there is a ton of power here to allow you to create just about any game you can dream up, pun intended. I love tinkering with software so this is right up my ally but even if you just want to play what others have created you can't go wrong since the games people are creating range all over, from the familiar to the unique, at a great price. Really the sky is the limit with what you can do with Dreams.

Awesome concept but....
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been following this game for years and the concept is awesome. But the controls are awkward and there is a learning curve that I think will limit who this game is for.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is more of an tool which allows easy creation of digital content and mini games and also allows you to play 1000 of content created by others. This is going to be keep becoming bigger and the best part is it supports VR which adds so much more value to this purchase. I definitely recommend this game to everyone, if you just want play unique mini games or content creator and budding game creator.

A masterpiece not for everyone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dreams is less a "game" and more a platform for creativity. It is Media Molecule taking the spirit of Little Big Planet to the next level, but not in a small leap but in bounds. If LBP gave people a galaxy of possibilities for design and creativity, Dreams gives them the universe. There's already a nearly bottomless selection of experiences to play through, some brilliant and many forgettable, but the pure joy comes from taking part in what others have created. There's a charm in that which not everyone will appreciate. Also, if you are not planning on ever delving into the creative tools yourself, you will not get to enjoy Dreams to its fullest potential and it may feel like half an experience for you. However, I do feel like a lot of people who go in not intending to be creative will be inspired by what they play from others and will decide to take the plunge themselves. This obviously would not appeal to all, and therefore that is why I feel this game is truly a masterpiece and a revolution of sorts in terms of the power put in gamers' hands. I also like the price being $40. Nevertheless, I highly recommend it for what potential it has. You never know when that spark of creativity might arrive, and Dreams will give you the tools to do something meaningful with it.

Truly a Dream Experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought at first that the creations that would be possible in this game would be very limited. I was proven very wrong when upon playing the game I was able to play all sorts of genres and they are full-fledged games. Of course some dreams in the game may feel kind of like free flash games off the internet. There is a large enough group of people creating some quality content.

An incredible creative and artistic game!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Dreams. It's a game where you create other games within it. It also ships with the "main campaign" called Art's Dream, a few hours-length creation made by the developer that displays the capabilities of this game. Dreams is an infinite game creator where you have an endless choice of games and levels made by others. I highly recommend it to all PS4 owners.

A Game For Anyone Who Appreciates Creativity
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that I loved the LittleBigPlanet games, and to be honest Dreams nearly slipped under the radar for me even though it's by the same developers. But I finally got to play it and mess around in the creation system and I have to say it is definitely one for all you creative minds out there. There is a learning curve to the creation tools and while I haven't gotten all of them down yet there is literally endless potential to what you can create. It's all limited to your imagination (and the imagination of others). If you don't want to create your own you can play other peoples' creations. I have seen everything from Fallout 4 to Sonic the Hedgehog to even Avatar the Last Airbender on the list of creations that you can play. And that will only increase with more people jumping in. Even the game's story mode is a nice homage to art and creativity, being aptly named "Art's Dream". It's a nice campaign that was built using the creation tools in Dreams itself, so what you play in the campaign is fair game for you to create as well. Long story short, this game lets you experience the wonderful world of art, music and all things that inspire us to create. Dreams is a gem for anyone who appreciates the basic human knack for making things.

FANTASTIC software, pretty complicated though
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic, ambitious program that I really enjoyed using. It really stimulates creativity and I was gobsmacked about how much you can do and in the game's "Dreamiverse" community. I have a lot of fun with it, especially mixing music and making rudimentary games. It will make you realize just how much work goes into programming games - the logic alone can occupy you for days. I am sad to report though that it is still a very complicated program and requires a lot of hard work to get desired results. The tutorials are fantastic but you have to spend a long time fine tuning what you are making so it will look and feel right...a lot of quality control and bug testing, etc. Most of it was beyond the scope of my patience and time. My five-star review is based on the program's amazing toolset, educational value, and versatility. I wish it was selling better because it is a game-changer a la Minecraft...I just think that its learning curve is pretty steep.

Really relies on the community
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great if you want to make your own games! And it's pretty good if you just want to play games and have no intention to make any. The levels in the game are never ending but they are community made levels so there isn't any consistency. So keep that in mind before purchasing Dreams.

Amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very deep dev kit that is very easy to pick up and well thought out. Navigation using only the dualshock is good enough that move controllers are not necessary. Once you start playing around in Dreams you really get addicted to exploring all the fantastic options. While the tutorials are excellent and easy to comprehend, my only complaint is they should be a little better organized from the beginner to advanced lessons.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great and innovative! It has some nice tutorials to help get you started and help you tap into your creative ideas. This has many hours of replay time because you literally can create so much content and use your friends or the community to help you designing some of your creations!
