great camera, great picture, great sound quality. installation is super quick, had it setup in 10 minutes. nightvision quality is amazing!

I have been notified from the company that the camera does not work with Verizon FIOS. If you have FIOS, product does not work!!!!

I bought this as a puppy cam because my Dashchund, Wexter, had a lot of crate anxiety. I wanted to try letting him out of his crate while I was at work, but I was concerned he might destroy my apartment. Being able to monitor him on my cell phone while I'm away helps so much in keeping my mind at ease. Also being able to see what he's up to while I'm away satisfies a bit of curiosity as well (spoiler alert: he mostly sleeps on furniture). The camera was amazingly easy to set up - it literally took less than 5 minutes. You don't need any networking or video experience. If you can plug in a cable and know the password for your wireless network, you can set up this camera. I love the ability to set up alerts based on noise or motion, so I know if he's barking or getting into something he shouldn't. The infrared is also very handy to make sure he isnt getting into trouble when he should be sleeping. The only downside is the digital zoom - its a little terrible. You can still easily see everything that's going on, but if you want to zoom at all, the picture is going to get very grainy very fast. The streaming video is free, but if you want to record data, set up alert zones, etc, there's a fee. In my opinion, the fee is incredibly reasonable. My 14 day free trial for the recording expires tomorrow and I will definitely be subscribing to it. It's the bees knees

Sure there are a lot of wifi cameras on the market, but the dropcam is on a whole other level. Not only does the website give you access to view live streaming dropcam video from around the world, but its ease of set up was second to none. Nice clean packaging. Easy set up to home wifi. User friendly apps on iOS devices. I purchased this as a dual purpose camera to keep an eye on my property and to make sure my pets weren't getting into any trouble. It's also cool to be able to talk to them and hear them barking! I am ready to get a 2nd camera for my upstairs!

Good resolution, easy to view through website or app. 4 stars because: - If you have a Windows Phone there is no Dropcam app, and I was not able to login and view the cam through the web browser. - Unless you subscribe to the cloud recording service you don't get any notifications. - Cloud recording options too expensive. $100 for 1st cam + 50 for each additional cam for 7 day recording. No option for less than 7 day recording.

Bought this camera to use as a nanny cam and it's been great. Easy to set up and I can readily view on my ipad.

Its a great accessory to have in the kid's bedroom to keep an eye on them. I love it very much, I highly recommend it for any parents

Super easy to hook up and the android app works like a charm. Could not believe how clear the video was. Nice being able to zoom in and out as well. WIsh i would have bought one sooner.

This is a great camera to use and setup in the house. Using it to check up on mom and if she's doing alright while being away. Setup was really quick but the only drawback is the cost of getting the monitoring. It's 99 a year for the cloud DVR service PER camera. Without the DVR service it's just a live monitor which is fine too. Currently I'm using 1 with subscription and the other as a monitoring camera.

This is my first one of these.i check on my dogs when I'm away.its nice to see what's going on.i talk to them.there is a delay in the wii fi but good for the price.

I used this to monitor the room and also have motion detection for unwanted guests!

The camera is easy to setup but hard to make it work. Wireless signal always drop and the camera is not stable.
