Jeff Daniels character depth and Jim Carry Wacky schtick make for plenty of laughs. Jeff Daniels is a superlative subtle emotive counterbalance to Jim Carry's Jerry-Lewis-style slapstick. The script has holes that we can overlook with the help of lovely Lauren Holly who plays, with clever nuance, mostly straight. The script presents many improbable coincidences as required for the genre yet occasionally we empathize with the hapless dummies who after all have honorable intentions.

I know this movie is older than dirt but I’ve seen it so many times I just can’t stop watching it. I have this movie in my house I have one in my car from my DVD player, and I also have gotten one for everybody in my family we are synchronizing watch the movie at the same time. Watch this movie like you’ve never watched anything in your life.

Dumb and Dumber is a classic comedy, but the unrated version leaves a bit to desire. The additional footage was not particularly interesting and made the film seem much longer than the actual running time. It is wonderful to have the film on Blu-ray, but it would have been nice if it included both the theatrical and the unrated releases.

this was a good movie. but sometimes jim Carrey could be a little over the top for me. this movie does keep you entertained and laughing with some memorable scenes but after a while it can be a bit too much. was surprised though that Jeff Daniels had this type of talent in him.

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are amazingly funny in this near nonstop comedy movie. Laughed til I cried when I first watched it in theaters, and still years later on the Blu-ray copy at the comforts of my home.

Dumb and Dumber is simply one of the funniest movies ever made. Definitely in my top 10 comedies. It's just stupid humor that does anything to make you laugh. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are perfectly cast and really make these characters memorable.

Dumb & Dumber is a classic buddy comedy with absurdist humor. Can't get enough of Harry and Lloyd and their adventure to Aspen. Nice blu-ray release for this film. If you are a completest and already have this on another format I'd still pick this up too.

Bought for someone else they like movies like this

I have been trying to buy this for so long. Went to Ebay and Amazon, but didn't want to pay the price everyone was charging. Glad I found it on Best Buy. Great Film, classic one liners.

nice old movie that makes you laugh during most of the movie.jim carey is a good comedian and I like to watch all his movies such as liar liar,etc.i advice anybody to watch this movie when you are upset or not happy to change your mood and forget your problems for a short period of time at least

In the not so great category, I probably should have said "after watching this 30 times in the last 10 years, there is no mystery to this movie." Actually, I couldn't stand this movie the first time I saw it. It is definitely a "grows on you" kind of movie.

This was a favorite movie of mine growing up, and it’s just as good as the first time I saw this. The case and disc are in Excellent condition as well.

I loved this movie and just never got to owning it. I would watch it all the time when it aired on TV. got tired of commercials so decided to purchase and I already watched 3x.

This movie is still awesome after all these years! This is probably one of Jim Carrey's best roles in his carrer. The laughs just keep on coming from start to finish! I highly recommend this movie for any fan of comedy and Jim Carrey!

Classic movie! People either love it or hate it. If you're the serious type, it might not be your cup of tea. If you laugh hysterically at people accidentally getting hurt, then this is the one for you!

I got this movie for my husband because he has loved this movie since it came out, but he was happy to see that it was unrated because he said that they really get crazy in this one. I get all of my dvd's from best buy.

If you ever need a go to movie this it! I love this movie so much I often fall asleep to it. Drives my wife nuts! For whatever reason my old DVD no longer worked , so I had to pick this up! Especially at a great deal.

Tremendous movie with non stop laughter. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels play very well off each other, creating a memorable movie with great replay value and excellent quotes.

If you're looking for something to watch that is kick back and relax fun, this is it. The unrated blu-ray version is just as good as the original release if not better.

This is one of the best comedy movies of the 90’s. The jokes still hit 26 years later. The stakes are through the roof all the way till the end. Must watch if you love comedies.
