It was a piece of cake to set up. I like that is compact in size. And it is easy to operate.

This is a great inexpensive add on dvd player. It works smoothly and the remote control also works flawlessly. It has lots of extra features not usually found on inexpensive units as well.

This is not a PORTABLE DVD PLAYER, it is a regular DVD player but is very compact and easily transported. We purchased this for watching movies on a recent golf trip where channels were limited and we had some movies we used to watch in college. The product is simple to set up and came with all the cables necessary to start watching DVD movies. Sound quality is good for general watching but it does come with outputs for home theater setups as well. The video playback was as expected and was displayed in HD and looked good on the hotel TV. Note: After 2 months of travel and usage, it still works great even after a couple spills on the floor!

I needed a DVD player that would work well with an OLD television set (didn't need the bluray or the 3D or any of the other fancy stuff). This DVD player was perfect and at that price it was even better. Works great.

This was the only model Best Buy had with component video output and I can't use HDMI from my control center across the room. It had no digital readout but otherwise the quality was excellent..

I love that this not only plays DVDs easily and clearly on my big old box TV, it also plays CDs! Music in the air again, given my old CD player/tape deck no longer plays the CDs. Plus it was very easy to hook up and even came with a battery for the remote!

I bought this as a gift for my parents who aren't exactly technology-savvy , and they found it really easy to use. Its a very nice dvd-player and was a bargain for the price!

I have used the DVD player in a classroom situation where I like to have subtitles in English for weak readers and scene selection when classes stop in the middle of a DVD and want to resume at the same exact place. The remote does an excellent job.

This product was very well worth the price for something so simple easy. This will be great for me to take with me on trips. so Im looking forward to buying a blu ray next

needed assistance to get it running but easy to use after that. plug points not colored the same as TV unit so confused me; geek tech fix it in two seconds He was helpful and kind, nice to have the younger generation turning out so well Thanks

Not the most decked out player, but for watching simple DVDs without upscaling, its definitely worth the price. We use it for the kids to watch DVDs on their smaller TV. We don't have to worry about them ruining it because of the cost and its pretty robust.

The DVD worked out well. It is of good quality for a reasonable price. I was surprised by the many uses to broadcast movies and surround music. Real good! BigRed1

I replaced the exact same model, which had stopped working after several years. No frills but that's all I need. The new one works just fine and it's super inexpensive.

Inexpensive dvd player simple to hook up you will need rca jacks as this doesnt come with them but I had plenty here extra. My son loved this he got it for Christmas for his own room.
