My dad lives in a beautiful assisted living facility. I wanted to buy him an easy to use DVD player so we could watch movies and tv shows from his generation. Set up of this unit was simple and the remote is easy to use. This was a great purchase for the price. We watched Ma & Pa Kettle the other day and he really enjoyed it!

Cheap and works great. It was on sale. Small as well.

I purchased this for my mother who is elderly and wanted a simple DVD player that will play movies and without all the bells and whistles. This is perfect for her, it's a good player and the remote is easy for her to understand

My wife needed a DVD player to go along with her Insignia TV. She only needed it for shows and workouts during exercising. So far, the DVD player has worked very well. It has an HDMI port in the back to hook up conveniently to the TV. It is fairly simple to operate and I needed no reference to the instruction manual when setting it up.

We were looking for a basic DVD player for our daughter to use. This one keeps it very simple and is easy for her to follow. We haven't had one problem with it's ability and she watches a movie every night. Would buy again.

so glad i bought this DVD player always trusted the guys at best buy to get me exactly what im looking for and the gentleman recommended this one. plays DVDs with ease and also comes with remote so you don't even have to get up setup less than 5 min from box to play.

Plays dvds with a good picture Remote has to be directly pointed at DVD player Leaving paused to long has to be restarted and has difficulty at times . But for the price it's ok .

I liked the DVD player it's very easy to set up the remote comes with the battery. It's very slim so it fits right under the TV can't even tell it's there all the lights shut off once it's off.

If you want a DVD player that does exactly what you need it to do with quality picture and audio, along with a great remote control then this is a great buy. No blu ray but for 24.99 I can switch to blu ray in the the future when no more "regular DVDs will be produced" LOL

I would highly recommend this great value. It is perfect for our family room & kid's room & at this price point you can't beat it. We have been so pleased & this product has far exceeded our expectations!

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Insert a dvd and it will play it. The remote seems to be a little easier to use than others I've seen in the past. Being just large enough to read the buttons and fit in your hand. Great price, works well.

For under $40, this is a fine player if you aren't overly concerned with picture quality. With a standard composite hookup, the picture comes in clearly, and the sound is actually really good. However, some of the colors appear washed out, though I imagine a component hookup would give a better picture. Given that this player lacks HDMI out, I would only recommend it for smaller TV's; however, it's not a bad piece of equipment at all.

This player is simple and easy to use I purchased for my child's room and it is working out great He can easily operate it The size is good too because it doesn't take up to much space

Needed a small, reliable DVD player for a spare bedroom tv. The Insignia DVD player was compact, very economical and contained all the functionality I needed. A great value.

If you are looking for a basic DVD player that lasts, this is a good one. My kids tend to get rough with their DVD players. With the amount of use, they can wear one out quickly. I bought this as a cheap replacement for a more expensive one in my youngest child's room. It has been about six months and still going strong. If you want a very basic DVD player without all the bells and whistles, this is a good one.

We use it for the kids playroom. No problems so far. Same functions as a more expensive brand. Very inexpensive so if it were to break, could easily be replaced, but so far, so good.

A beautiful device. Easy to set up. Within minutes we were hooked up and ready to watch out favorite dvds and listen to cds. The remote is simple and easy to use . My kids love it. You can't go wrong with this product.

I was looking for a reasonably priced DVD player and found it with the Insignia. So compact and lightweight I even travel with it. Easy to install too! Great buy for the money!
