This is a great basic DVD player. Very easy to use.

It was a great buy, it wasn't the latest player, but for the price I can live with not having an HDMI connection. Insignia products have always been good from Best Buy.

Great product that works as expected. Only drawback was the cord was not long enough to reach the TV mounted on the wall. We ended up using it in a bedroom instead :(

Very basic. Slow load time. But plays clean dvds with no issues. If dirty it won't play it.

This DVD player is nothing fancy. No apps or connectivity, just a basic cheap player that I needed to loop a promo dvd for a store I work in. Good price and ok picture.

I purchased this dvd player for my guest bedroom but I still wanted something that was sleek and looks good. I don't care much for the remote. It has had minimal use but it does the job.

Have an older projection set, thus no HDMI inputs! Using component output from the player gets me an excellent picture. Simple hookup and setup. Does exactly what I need. Great buy.

My daughter needed a dvd player to hook up her dorm room tv. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, this Insignia NS-D160A14 fell within her price range. It works great!

Basic light no frills but works and was the cheapest DVD player in store. Functions well for playroom DVDs.

unable too hook it too tv cause the cables don't come with the dvd player and are sold separate why sell a dvd player that you cant hook up too the tv cause I have too buy the other cables by them selfs

This was a great deal on an inexpensive DVD player. Notably, however, it makes some *whirring* noises during disc reading. Not a problem, but if the room is quiet it is noticeable.

This was purchased for my parents who apparently still watch DVDs. Super inexpensive and a snap to install. Interface and picture quality is, well, as one would expect for a $25 DVD player.

I like the product with the following exception: I had to return to the store three times to finally get clarification on hooking machine to TV. The instructions were terrible.

All I needed was a simple dvd player. I have a 46 inch insignia tv so I bought the same dvd brand. It works great and does what I need it to do.

I highly recommend the Insignia DVD Player modelNS-D160A14. It handles all of the different DVD formats and has flawless playback. It works well as an extra dvd player for a spare room or even in the den!
