    Some dvds players are slow when they open/close and before it reads the disk. This doesn't have that issue

    I was looking for an inexpensive DVD player that could play DVD disks that have been recorded at various speeds. Unfortunately, this DVD player is not up to the challenge. When playing DVDs that were recorded at low speeds, the video displayed on the television screen jerked/flickered when there was movement in the scene. In addition, I was disappointed that the player could not remember where I stopped. I frequently don't get a chance to watch an entire DVD in one sitting. Thus, it's important for the player to remember where I stopped watching. Unfortunately, when I turned the player back on, it started the DVD from the beginning of the disk. I have returned this player to the store.

    This is a very basic dvd player. It does nothing extra. It's perfect for kids or grandkids to watch their dvds. Doesn't take up much space either. Kinda noisy but you get what you pay for. Overall a great value!
