A Very Good Budget Cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed an HDMI cable to hook up a new Blu-ray player for a relative I was visiting, and while I normally buy my cables online (where they are a LOT cheaper), this one purchased in the BB store worked well. I don't mean to knock BB, but most brick & mortar retailers routinely mark up items like cables quite a bit, so I try to save money where I can; contrary to what a LOT of salespeople will tell you (the BB salesguy was very helpful), I've only seen a so-called "budget" cable fail once, and I think it was just a sample defect. I've used generics for many years and never had an issue.
