    I purchased a new 4k Sony and thought it maze sense to resolve my 5 year old hdmi cable too. Before connecting this cable I did use the existing one and it worked but I still wanted to upgrade to a newer one. This cable would not send a signal from my bluray player to the tv. It might be fine for audio only but I don't recommend it. I went with Amazon Basics and for the same price their cable worked.
