Great to hook up to monitor to MacBook Pro or other computers.

Just what I needed for my set up. Great value for the product.

Compared to the HDMI cable, this cable was great at first because it is the only way to fill my 27in computer monitor screen. The HDMI cable causes a 1in black frame to make my usable screen space smaller, even in the largest resolution mode. Unfortunately, when using this DVI cable the computer monitor would not come out of sleep mode without completely restarting the computer almost every time...totally not acceptable. After 2 weeks of not being able to solve this problem, we finally put the HDMI cable back on and have not had the problem anymore.

This cable was a good price so we ended up getting a couple of them. The connectors didn't quite want to screw into place like they should, but the cable still works fine.

This is a great tool. We have bought smart tv's that are just a wee bit smarter than we are! This worked great for hooking up games and also works well for our computers (or so my son tells me--he is much better than I am at knowing these things).

Although outdated in it's technology, yet still similarly priced to current updated technology cables in the same category, the coupon I received for money off the purchase made them fall in line price-wise with their outdated counterparts being sold at discount retailers. It is a shame they did not start out at the lower price though. I digress, the cables function as they should. The flexibility is fine and the length is better than expected since I was running them from a further distance than I was used to because of the larger monitor size I had upgraded to. The knobs for tightening the connector down are a bit odd. They are bulbous, which should help turn them. However, they are smooth so there is little grip for fingers. The head will fit a screw driver, but that isn't convenient in tight places. For the advertised price they are not worth it. Although, if you can get a 50% or greater discount, it is a good purchase.

The package and web sites (BB and Dynex) only state that this is DVI cable. It is actally 18+1 pin DVI-D (single link). It is OK for normal digital computer/connection but ot for nother versions of DVI spec. See Wikipedia for details of DVI types.

My flat screen monitor had stopped working with VGA cables... it works fine now when the connections were changed to DVI :)

Simple and easy to use plug and play installation. Had my new monitor up and running in a matter of a few mins.
