The hub is powered by an external AC adapter instead of through USB which is a huge pitfall for me as I like to keep my work space uncluttered by cabled and power plugs. Do not expect to get good throughput when plugging a headset into this hub. Skip this product and search out a USB hub that supports USB 3.0 and USB charging.

I asked the sales associate to help me find a USB charger that would allow me to charge 3-4 items at once. Something that would plug in to the wall and allow me to plug in more that 3 USB cords to charge phones and pads. The sold me a USB hub telling me it was exactly what I needed. I returned it because it did not allow me to charge anything unless it was plugged in to my computer.

Works as advertised. No complaints. Not sure would have purchased at full price due to competitors quality.

I bought this because I had many phones, computers, and tablets that each required a power source for charging. Although I can use this hub to consolidate USB cords, I still needed another power source for it to work... I had to plug it into both an electrical outlet and a computer's USB plug. This defeated my primary purpose. Other than that, it's just great!

Would be a great product, but the main USB connection is loose on my unit. I had to keep wiggling it around to keep the connection stable. My unit will stay on my desk, so now that I have the cable in the right spot, its fine. But if you were traveling with this unit (and yours had the same issue) it would be a nightmare to keep all your devices active.

Would have preferred a hub that didn't need external power, but this was a good option for the price.

This meets my needs, but I wish that I had paid more and purchased newer model with 3.0.

I recently got a raspberry pi micro board. I needed this hub for more connectivity. I am actually pleased with the hub more than the pi. At least until someone figures out how to add more volatile memory to the pi.

It took a bit of fiddling to get all of my hard drives and printers to come on-line, but I don't think it was this unit's fault. After swapping the hard drives around a bit, everything works as it's supposed to.

Some USBs are difficult to insert but once you get them in it works perfectly

My laptop has some flakey USB connections. Adding this USB hub has provided me with solid reliable USB connectivity for my USB devices. My devices used to drop off and back on again, now they all stay on.

I bought this to use in the office. It works and had a good price.

Bought for specific testing units in our lab needing multiple USB connections. Filled needs economically, but I can tell it is not a long durability item due to light plastic design. For the price, it is a good item, especially for limited uses.

Added flexibility to my computer in minutes! Works with all external devices I have tried. No problems.

Super fast for a 2.0 product. The only thing I would suggest is to make a 3.0 version.

Small, but lots of ports, easy to just mount on top of my desktop for quick access.

Simplicity itself. You just plug into an existing usb port and you are ready to go.

We needed this, and it works great. I don't know we ever got along without it.

My husband bought the for his studio and so far it has worked out great!
