This is an easy to use device as you plug and play and connect. This supports 1080p no problem at 60 Hz with audio return. I have an Dell Optiplex 9020 that when using this device with a Samsung 55 inch smart TV will actually do 4K display, but only at 30 Hz. I downscale back to the 1080p for 60 Hz and works well and easy to use with Audio over the HDMI cable as well.

This generic Dynex cable is like $9.50 and all the other cables exactly the same are like 2-3x more expensive. They showed in stock on the website but the store attendant had to go in the back to get them...of course the have the most expensive ones on the shelf and not the less expensive ones.

This adapter worked perfectly for either attaching the HDMI connectors on my oculus rift or monitors to a DVI in on my gtx980ti video cards. Make sure you read the tech specs - specifically this adapter will not support refresh rates over 60hz. Also, you may need to manually set the color range to full (instead of the default 6bpp) in your video card driver control panel. Again, the adapter worked perfectly for me, just make sure it's right for your setup and configured properly!

Bought this in a pinch when desktop PC died and had to use an iMac laptop to hardwire into our router. Worked great. Was able to correct router issues. Evening saved. Lowest cost item on rack and performed flawlessly.

This product is amazing in and out. I only have 1 HDMI port and 3 Display Ports on my Graphics card. (GPU). This will work if you attach an HDMI to the end of this and the back of your second monitor. You then plug the display port into the GPU and it will work. I love dual monitors. I would like to have 4 monitors which ideally, I could do if I wanted but two is enough.

I purchased two of these Male Display Port to Female HDMI Adapters in conjunction with two Samsung 24" LED Monitors to re-create my work space at home in this time of COVID-19. They're performing flawlessly and I've very satisfied. I'd recommend these to anyone who needed this kind of adapter.

This adapter works just as good as higher priced adapters. No problems with 1920x1080 resolutions, but if you need higher, then you'll need a more expensive adapter. No issues yet. The only negative, and minor at that, is it's really hard to find in the store. The sales guy had a hard time trying to locate it in the store. Ended up having to order and wait a few days, a minor inconvenience.

Used adapter to connect from my laptop (HDMI) to an external monitor via a 3’ HDMI cable. Adapter mechanical connector dimensions were in spec so connecting the various items was seamless. Adapter is compact and sits nicely behind external monitor when not in use.

It was amazing to find one at this price, most the of stores are sold out. I didn’t even think I would need one for working at home but I did. Solid connection and great performance. Was delivered curbside to me in bubble wrap with a sticker on it. Seems more like and open box return than one on a card. Would have enjoyed a few dollar discount on it for that reason.

Needed to convert the output of a PC I use for streaming movies and shows to my HDMI receiver. The PC had VGA or Display Port. Display Port combines Video with Digital Audio so I went with this adapter to convert the DP to HDMI. Flawless.

It took me a little bit to find this in the store (not in the cord accessories area in computers), but this worked great and was the least expensive option that was local out there. I have an HDMI TV and a DisplayPort laptop, so this was needed to get my computer screen on to my TV.

The title basically says it all. No need to drop over double the price of this on the Insignia one if you can pick this up instead. I’m using it to go from a DisplayPort out on my PC to a TV with HDMI.

I’m new to the multi monitor work and didn’t know why I couldn’t get the second monitor to connect. After some research I ended up needing a HDMI to Display adapter. This one was great. It connected the monitor right away and I haven’t had any issues with it.

My office computer is a relic that does not have HDMI outputs, only a display port and VGA. I purchased a new widescreen monitor that only has HDMI inputs. I tried a VGA adapter and it didn't work for me, but this DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter works great and now my old computer and new monitor play nicely with each other.

I purchased a new computer monitor to use with the monitor I already owned but ran out of ports on my computer. The Dynex Display Port Adapter does exactly what I need to use both monitors. Just plug and play. And the price is right.

I recently set up a TeleWork office at home. I mixed it with my personal and work computer tied to two HP25er monitors. This helped me to finalize my personal setup to be able to use the laptop monitor and two extras tied to my Kensington docking station. This worked great and gave me the cable length I needed.

This is a great little adapter for an affordable price. I was previously connecting my monitor via a VGA to Display Port adapter which caused the screen to be blurry and hurt my eyes. Now I'm connecting via HDMI to Display Port adapter and the screen quality is MUCH better. I highly recommend this adapter.

Easy to use but shouldn't be necessary if Dell would just add an actual HDMI port and do away with the need for a silly adapter that I cannot see a need for otherwise. Maybe tell Dell to get with the times and just adapt themselves???!!! Not happy with HAVING to buy this to connect to a display not made by Dell!!!!

Glad Best Buy had a Dynex monitor cable. I read when running 2 monitors, its best to go through the added graphics card not the motherboard. Seem to do the job; great performance ( additional nano-second) ! Curious why the graphics manufacture doesn't have 2nd HDMI but this new socket, to sell cables?! :-(

I have a TINY Lenovo PC that was advertised as having an HDMI port but only has it indirectly. With this short cable, I was able to plug in the DisplayPort plug to the PC and then plug an HDMI cable into the adapter and the monitor. Worked perfectly with the first attempt to have HDMI access to my computer.
