    The adhesive on the cap keeper holds very well through all conditions. If you don't want to wrap the elastic string around the lens, clip it to the strap. I use these on every lens I have.IF you have mulitple lens changes, buy one for the lens caps and one for the mounting braket cover at the other end.

    I bought this so that I wouldn't misplace my lens cap. I have bought one in the past and the adhesive failed and thus the keeper. This keeper is made slightly differently and is holding up great. An inexpensive but great buy!!

    After losing a lens cover, I ran out and bought the Dynex Lens Cap Keeper. It was so easy to install and has last the many many times I've taken off my lens cap. I have since bought two more for my other lenses. Worth every cent!

    There is nothing fancy about these cap keepers, and that's the way it's suppose to be. I've seen cheaper ones online, but they all work the same. Elastic band goes around the lens and sticky button goes on the cap.
