We wanted to use our new XBox One on our 10 year old TV, which is HD ready but doesn't have an HDMI port. So we used a DVI to HDMI adapter, but it only converted the picture, there was no sound. So we added this Digital Audio-to-Analog Audio Converter, plugging it into the audio input, and voila! Sound AND a high definition picture.

This adapter was needed since my new TV does not have a stereo audio output. It was a little tricky to hook up but it works just fine. You need to set the audio output to PCM Linear. I thought I would find this option on the TV menu, but it wasn't there. It is on the DVD player. For me that is a PS3. It took a little searching through the menus to find the right settings but I finally did. Now I can watch movies with the stereo. However, it only works with DVDs, not TV programming.

Easy to install and i dont have any delay in sound

Purchased a new Sony 79" 4K TV to replace my older Sony XBR. Surprise no RCA type audio outputs ... only headphone or optical. Read the reviews on this Dynex™ DX-SF110 converter so ordered. Easy set-up and solved the problem. I'm now able to continue using my older Bose Lifestyle 12 Surround System!!!

Have a older stereo so I needed a converter and this work perfect.

I needed to connect my digital audio TV to my analog sound system and this converter worked perfectly.

I have a newer tv with no RCA Audio out but a beautiful old set of speakers with no digital optical, this solved my problem! Would have given 5 stars of not for the adapter having to be unplugged and plugged back in after a while of no use.

Worked great after I purchased the digital audio cord to connect the converter to my DVD player. Wish the converter details online said the digital audio cord was sold separately. I would have ordered it at the same time.

I bought Sony wireless head phones and they worked with the TV but when I went to NETFLIX I couldn't hear anything but the TV sound so I did some checking and it told me what I needed. Went to my bb and picked up the above converter. Very easy instructions because I had no problem hooking it up. Had to buy the extension as the one that came with it wasn't long enough. Very satisfied with it. Great performance

Converter was just what I was looking for to connect my TV to my stereo. Easy to install.

Easy to setup & cheaper than similar products. Does have to be powered though, so you will need a free outlet. I'm using this for my television & occasionally, the sound seems to cut out & the television needs to be power cycled to get the signal back. This doesn't seem to happen too often, but it's probably best to keep the unit in a position where it won't get bumped/jostled to help avoid this issue.

This product is working good no issues. use it to connect my tv and speakers.

I have an old receiver and new video equipment. This is a much needed device to convert optical cabled to RCA style plugs. I haven't listened to any new blue ray movies yet so the jury is still out.

I was looking for a product that would convert digital audio to analog while maintaining the highest possible quality, and this product certainly did the trick! I am VERY pleased with the quality of the digital-to-analog conversion.

Easily took an optical audio output from my mom's TV and converted it into analog stereo audio to plug into her receiver (which drives her speakers).

Works well if you have a digital signal to send to a analog device, I needed to send the audio output from our TV to a analog stereo receiver, this gets the job done well.

I purchased this converter to connect a pair of wireless head phones to my Television. I needed this to convert the optical output on the TV to the analog receiver/transmitter of the headphones. This works very well and I have had no problems to date.
