Great converter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this converter because I have an old flat screen TV in my bedroom. This TV doesn't have an HDMI input and I needed this input be able to use my Apple TV with it. So after finding the wire I needed to convert the visual into the HDMi input on the Apple TV I needed a converter to change the basic audio wiring to optical to patch into the Apple TV for sound. I wasn't about to buy another TV when the one I have worked just fine and besides its a bedroom TV. Anyways the product did exactly as it was supposed to do.

Easy to connect Optical Audio to an older AV Unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for an easy way to connect my new Smart TV optical TSOiink audio to an RCA A / V Unit. The Dynex unit was inexpensive and connected to my older RCA Cables that went from the TV to the an RCA cable based A / V unit. There is a noticeable 50 millisecond delay when the TV and A / V unit sound are oin together. An easy fix? I now shut off the sound on my TV and use the the A / V unit only. Problem fixed. I do however get chatter/static when using Netflix on the TV through the A / V Unit. All my other Smart TV features work fine. .

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Finally I can hook my flat screen up to my 1972 Kenwood receiver and my modern Polk speakers. I have not found any modern amp that sounds as good. Afterall real sound is analog not digital.
