It's like a Y-Wing...only not.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I bought this because I have a sub-woofer with two inputs but my Stereo reciever has one output. I spoke to a friend and he said that you split the cable, so I split the cable so I would get the LFE (low frequency effects) channel AND the normal sub woofer channel. And the first movie I watched with it was the new release of Star Wars on Blue Ray. Star Wars has a lot of bass, from the hum of the "motors" in the death star, to the explosion as it blows up. I have to say connecting my sub-woofer that way definitely achieved the desired effect. This is a cheaper cable, but I can't notice any quality degradation. I am using a nicer cable to connect the sub-woofer to the receiver which is the longest distance and the one that is most likely to degrade quality. With this set-up everything works and produces clear sound.
