Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the comfort offered by the Stereo Headset with Noise-Canceling Microphone, although some found it uncomfortable after extended use or when wearing glasses. However, many customers reported significant issues with sound quality and microphone functionality, citing inconsistent sound, static, and microphone failure. Concerns were also raised regarding the volume control's fragility and limited functionality. The lack of a mute button on the microphone was also a point of dissatisfaction for some users.

    Not worth it.

    1. Sound quality is meh. Good if you're not watching movies, playing video games, or listening to iTunes. But if you're using headphones with your computer, you're probably doing one of these things. 2. The mic has no off switch. Lots of static feedback heard through the headset. 3. Flimsy. Currently using electrical tape to hold it together until I get my replacement headset. Plan on doing a bit more research this time around. 4. Comfortable for short uses. Worse if you wear glasses (like I do--if you wear them too, you know what I'm talkin' about.) They also fall off easy.

Ok, so I bought this as my second mic. My first broke, so I wanted something cheap...bad idea. A week and a half after purchase, it just stopped working...no reason...just stopped. While it was working, everyone told me the Mic quality was poor (no matter how many times I configured it) and the volume wasn't as loud as I would have liked it to be sometimes. But that's not the end of the story...I gave it a second chance thinking it might have been that mic specifically that had problems. NOPE! Second one I bought had the same issues. I wasted $45 on two broken mics when I could have used that for one good one...very dissapointing.

I wanted a headset to record things on my Mac laptop and didn't want to spend a lot. So I picked this one up, bad idea. I got it home and out of the package and plugged it into the headphone and microphone inputs on my Macbook Pro. THe headphones worked but the sound wasn't great but I could of lived with that if the dam microphone would have worked. I rechecked my system settings but not a peep from the microphone input. I jiggled the microphone plug and it popped, crackled and made a bunch of noise as if it wanted to work but no go. Summed up, the old saying is correct, you get what you pay for. if you are looking for a stereo headset to use with a Mac computer, don't bother with this one.

    Worst headphones I've ever used

I bought these headphones because they looked small and simple. What a mistake. After the first couple of times of use, the volume is quite low and the sound comes out from only one side of the headphones. I've tried everything I can think of, but I still can't get the other to work. The one ear that does hear the sound is filled with static, it's not clear. Now I just use only the microphone and hear the sound from my laptop speakers which is very loud and crisp clear, but that defies the purpose of getting headphones in the first place. What a waste, don't buy it.

    Painfully dying headset

I bought this headset about four months ago. It was comfortable and worked great at first. A week later the microphone died, but I didn't mind, having a spare. However, over the past few months the sound quality the headset gives compared to, say, speakers, has dropped significantly, now at the point that my $20 MP3 player plays at a higher quality. Do not recommend for everyday use.

Doesnt fit snug on my ears, Im always adjusting them, and there is no mute button which really sucks. But other than that the sound is good.

    Poor Product

This product looks good, but the volume adjuster on the connection wire only works at max volume and the microphone doesn't even work. This product looked fine in the box, but when opened never worked.

    Adequate

It has been my experience that most headsets don't work, even when they are brand new. This one had a mic that could pick up ordinary speaking. Usually, I need to hold the mic in my lips and talk very lously for any sound to get through. Another good thing about this is that the mic stem was very long, making it suitable for people with big heads, like me. The downside is that it has poor stress relief at the plugs, so bending eventually makes th econtact intermittent. It is fragile at the volume control. A little tension and the thing flies apart.

    Don't work properly

I bought these headphones thinking they'd be good value for my money, for recording Voice Over projects. The headphones work alright for listening, but the microphone doesn't work at all. It barely picks up my voice, only sometimes. I've tried using it with Yahoo Chat! and GoogleVoice and it sucks. Haven't even bothered to try using it for VoiceOver after that.

    Headset for WOW fanatic

I bought this for my son who is a WOW fanatic. When he first put it on and tried to conversate with others, they complained that it was really loud. This in itself is not bad, but I think if it came with a sort of volume control it might have been okay. He also stated that after an hour of wearing it, it became uncomfortable. I thought it was a great value otherwise.

This headset stopped producing sound consistently in both ears almost immediately. You can recover the sound, but only after fiddling with the voume dial for a coule of minutes. Do not buy this product.

    Broke After First Usage

Decent sound, but after the first usage, the left-side earpiece came unsnapped. I was able to snap it back into position, but the hold seems very tenuous at best. This does not bode well moving forward.....

Price really does matter! Sound quality is poor! High dollar sound card made to sound like your hooked up to a tin can and a string.

not that grate sound quality, bad recording

the sound quality isnt grate. it more like hearing buzz and sparkish noise. i am trying to keep this review as least bias as possible... any ways the recording is not grate because it records the wrong noises. such as when you breath it records that instead of your voice. also your voice will sound faint and weird.

this product is a great headset for it's price i got this one month ago and it works great. I really like the idea of adjustable mics. they're the best and i do recomend them over most mic's.
