She was very excited for the surprise. But the hair dryer that comes with this set really under performed. Additionally the dryer does not have much needed attachments like the supersonic. I would consider the Dyson Supersonic instead. We ended up returning.

This pre-styling dryer attachment was designed to take hair from wet to damp, and ready to style with the other included attachments. As it's not a full-size dryer, it will not have the same power or drying/styling capabilities as the Dyson Supersonic does. It's also worth noting, Dyson Supersonic™ is for those who want fast drying and smooth, controlled styling with techniques and additional tools such as a brush, While the Dyson Airwrap™ styler is for those who want the versatility of a styler to create curls and waves or a smooth finish. Both units will serve different purposes and do differ from each other.
