I am not in love with this as much as I thought I would have been. I love my Dyson blowdryer and thought it would be nice to have everything in one tool. My hair holds curl really well due to it being naturally wavy and it does not hold with either curling rods. I have tried it dry and damp and it just falls out. Plus it is still putting heat on my hair so there really is no difference I feel in a curling iron heat and the air wrap. It’s nice to have everything in one but the curling part is not worth the price. I ended up returning it. Other than that it is nicely made as Dyson products are known for. I wish I would have liked it more.

The best feature for me is how it gives long-lasting curls and waves without any heat damage. It automatically adjusts heat, airflow, and timing based on my hair type, and it actually works. My hair feels healthier, even after regular styling. What makes this tool even better is that it’s not just a curler, it’s a full 6-in-1 set. It can dry, curl, wave, smooth, volumize, and hide flyaways, all with one device. Each function works efficiently, and it’s helped me discard the other hair tools. These days, everything seems to come with an app, and this one is no exception. What makes it stand out, though, is how useful the MyDyson app actually is. With Bluetooth connectivity, I created a personal hair profile, and now the styler automatically follows a custom sequence tailored to my hair. It takes the guesswork out of styling and makes it easy to get consistent results, even if you’re not a pro. Honestly, what more could I ask for? Here’s what came in the box and how I’ve been using each item: The Fast dryer dries hair quickly before styling, perfect for prepping straight after a wash. The 1.6" Airwrap long barrel creates loose, bouncy curls and waves, and works really well on my medium-to-long hair. The Conical Airwrap barrel is ideal for tighter curls that last longer and start right from the root. I’ve noticed a big difference in how well my curls hold since I started using it. The Dryer+Flyaway smoother manages frizz and gives a polished finish, especially handy in humid weather. The Large round volumizing brush adds volume and shape while drying, great for days when I want extra body. The Soft smoothing brush is great for straightening fine hair without flattening it. The Filter cleaning brush helps keep the device clean and running at its best with minimal effort. And I love the Presentation case keeps everything organized and is super convenient for storage and travel. After two weeks of using this styler, I feel like I’ve only just begun to explore its full potential. However, it has already made a significant difference in how quickly and easily I can style my hair. If you are looking for a versatile, smart, and gentle dryer and styler, this product is definitely worth considering. Plus, with the app enhancing the user experience even further, it’s a definite win in my opinion.

After using the Dyson Airwrap Multi-Styler for a month, I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. The ceramic pink/rose gold design is not only beautiful but functional. The multiple attachments allow for various styling options, from sleek straight looks to bouncy waves. The intelligent heat control prevents damage to my hair, and I've noticed significantly less frizz. While the price point is high, the versatility and quality make it a worthwhile investment for those serious about hair styling.

Pros: —Styles, curls, and dries hair well —Barrel attachments fit from previous versions, and you can purchase other attachments you might want to add —The i.d. feature, once the timings are set to your liking, simplifies the (curling) process —Even though the wall wart is bigger—there’s NO longer a big box banging in the middle of cord! Hooray! —You can “skip ahead” in the curl cycle (more in the review below) Cons: —No middle size (1.2) barrel included with this set (you only get the 1.6 and the conical) —No soft-sided or travel-friendly bag —If you really love the manual cool shot option, there’s no manual cool shot button (however, I contend it’s not really an issue once you get used to the i.d. method when curling) —This one (hopefully) won’t apply to very many buyers: I had trouble with one of the directions of the conical barrel (after a long chat with Dyson, they’re sending a replacement barrel) I own a previous Airwrap long and was curious if I might like the i.d. Airwrap better. —If you’re on the fence about getting a new one if you own an Airwrap already, if you’ve owned it a while you might like getting the new one for some of the features mentioned below that are new/different. —If you don’t have one yet and you’re thinking about getting an Airwrap, while it is pricy, the tool is effective and useful. It can be a dryer, a curler, a blowout brush, and all without curling iron burns, and the appliance is easy to hold. Just like Airwraps before it, there’s a learning curve, but it’s great once you figure out the best way to use it for your hair. My one technique tip is to not dry your hair too much before styling. The new Airwrap i.d. for straight hair set came with a large brush and the conical barrel, the 1.6 barrel, the flyaway/dryer, the quick dryer (LOVE this attachment for quick drying!), and the smoothing brush. I wish it had also come with the 1.2 barrel, as that’s been a go-to for me, but my current 1.2 barrel fit on the new Airwrap i.d., as expected, so be assured that you can still use all those attachments you already have with this new unit. The conical barrel picked up my hair well in one direction, but not the other direction. I was able to manually get it to wrap that direction, and the barrel would hold it. I have the .8 barrel and while that barrel makes a narrower curl, the conical curls better on the higher end next to my head. The 1.2 and 1.6 barrels worked correctly as expected. The large brush – love it! It grasped my hair well, was easy to brush and roll, and you can (as with all attachments) use it with the various heat and speed settings, although note that the i.d. feature is just for the curling barrels. ***So, the i.d., the feature that’s new***: took a little getting used to since I’m used to the manual process. The cool shot is a necessary step for my curls to hold and I had to remember that the machine is doing the work for me now and to not push the button for the cool shot, ha! However, through pushing the button during the i.d. cycle, though, I learned that when you do that, you can “skip ahead” – you push the button up to start the curl cycle - if you push the button up DURING the i.d. cycle, it skips to the next step of the cycle. So, if you already have your hair wrapped and want to begin the curl step, just bump the button to skip to that step. Feel like your curl is hot enough and ready for the cool shot? Bump the button and skip to the cooling part. Done with the cool shot? Bump it up and end the cycle! Further, if you had a little trouble getting the hair to wrap and feel like the cycle wasn’t enough, as soon as the cycle ends, bump the button up quickly to start the cycle again without having to rewrap that curl to repeat the cycle! Dyson initially sets the curl i.d. cycle’s timings based on some input you make, and if it ended there, I’d not like it so much since the timings it set weren’t quite what I needed – BUT- through the app, you CAN adjust the wrap, curl, and cool step timings to your needs. Also, the timings can be different for different heat and fan speed combinations. Once you get used to the i.d. cycle, it’s pretty handy. I one of those who didn’t ever turn my non-i.d. Airwrap off between curls before, so having the i.d. unit go low/quiet in between curls is sure to save my hearing and it doesn’t blow things around (or off) the counter if I need/want to set it down between curls to clip or unclip my hair, or whatever. All said, I’m happy with the i.d. version of the Airwrap and recommend it. —It styles like the Airwrap should, —attachments you own (if you’re a previous or current Airwrap owner) and new ones you buy fit right on, —there’s no big block in the middle of the cord any longer, —if you need to twist the appliance around when curling, you don’t need to know where the button is for a cool shot since the i.d. cycle incorporates the cooling for you, —and the lowered fan speed in between curls is better for those like me who keep on curling without turning off the machine in between curls.

The new Dyson Airwrap multi styling tool is a game-changer for all things hair styling. Its powerful airflow was very noticeable as I have never seen my thicker hair dry so quickly before. The controlled heat to style without heat damage is a huge plus for hair health, especially for people who also dabble with dying and need to be super careful with their hair. The updated Dyson Airwrap has multiple attachments that make it super versatile so if you want smooth, voluminous, or curled hair, it does the job perfectly. It’s impressive on wet hair, saving time and reducing the need for multiple tools. The sleek design is extremely functional and comfortable to get use to, very ergonomic compared to competitors versions of the Airwrap that are on the market. The new technology and bluetooth to connect to the app was extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. The app gave step by step instructions once you input your hair type, automatically timing the curl process once you connected to it. You don’t have to press any buttons on the Dyson itself to change the temperature or fan, which definitely a plus. It’s very informative and personable to the user. Overall I would recommend this new Dyson Airwrap to anyone looking to add variety to their hair look but is not fully confident in the technique, as the Dyson will surely get you there.

I love the dyson, it gives shine to the hair with no heat damage. The app is so useful it changes all the settings for me, this helps to do my hair faster. I can use it for different hair styles with all the different attachments that comes with it. If you can afford it, get it.

At first, i thought im not gonna like the color based on the picture. But when i received it, its not so bad. The color is not too loud. Dyson is a great styler with all the attachments to it. It dries my hair fast. My hair looks a little better too compared to last time. However, i feel like it is a little bit heavy. Other than that, its all good.
