The Dyson Cool Me Personal Air Purifier works well for me as a bed room fan/air filter. Dyson products seem a little expensive/overpriced. But if you can find them on sale, like I did for this fan/filter, the high build quality justifies the premium on the sale price. I tried other filter/fans but they were to noisy when trying to sleep. The Dyson Cool Me can direct a strong breeze that can be felt 12-15 feet away on a medium (5-6 out of 10) setting. At higher settings the fan is a little loud for sleeping, but from 8-10 feet away on level 2-3 the unit is quiet. I recommend the Dyson Cool Me.

Great little bedroom fan, plus it purifies the air. Would have been even nicer if there was controls other then the remote. But still love it.

The Pure Cool Me is a really clever idea. A fan and air purifier in one. The design is definitely unique and at first glance you are not really sure what the thing is or does. I do have to say that it does output an impressive amount of air from the small opening in the dome and is relatively quiet as well compared to a traditional fan. At the lower speeds you can barely even hear it while still feeling some airflow. The oscillation feature is really nice when using as a cooling fan and the way the airflow can be directed up or down is really neat as well. The filter is easy to access by pressing the two buttons on the side to remove the dome. The filter unit is also very solid and well made. Hopefully it doesn't have to be replaced very often because I am guessing that it would be somewhat expensive to replace. The LCD display, which displays air speed (1-10), sleep timer, and filter life is nice and bright and it also seems to auto dim when the room is dark which is nice. I also really like the remote which is nice to leave on a nightstand or somewhere for easy reach to change fan settings. The remote stores on the side of the unit when not in use via a magnetic connection which is a nice feature, I just wish that the magnet was a little bit stronger as it is very easy to bump it and knock the remote off. There is a power button on the back of the unit to turn it on but all other controls must be done using the remote. This is also a potential issue if you ever were to lose the remote or if it breaks you would be mostly unable to control the fan. One complaint would be the power brick design. It is a very awkward bulky thing that it is built into the end of the power cord and has a very unusual shape. It sticks out about 3 inches from the wall making it very difficult to plug into a wall outlet having a piece of furniture against it. I needed to us an extension cord to plug in behind a bookcase even though the unit's cord was plenty long enough.

This pulls out all of the cooking odors, and It keeps the kitchen cooler.
