nice size and strong power as vacuum. Very good for carpet

This vacuum really does have great suction. I am very satisfied with it. I can vacuum the whole house without changing the piece to do the carpets and then hardwood floors. I like the small compact canister part. I like the bagless feature, although with a household like mine it does have to be emptied often! It's a great vacuum that I believe is worth the money!

This machine is acceptable on carpet but the standard head on a hard floor is very frustrating. The spinning head flicks small items backwards and you're constantly having to lift the head and place it squarely over the top of the thing you want vacuumed up. Emptying is a complete debacle. I defy anyone to empty this without getting gunk all over their hands. I found myself wishing for a machine that did have a bag. The old Dyson we had never suffered from these failings.

Great Vacuum! Planning on buying another one for the office.

My wife told me to get this she has A Dyson vacuum but this new one for pets hair works so good I am not joking she used it for about 10 minutes and when she took a break I wanted to use it so I did. It is so easy and gets all the hard spots with its space technology. it's awesome when I can make my wife happy and I am happy to.

I have a 4 year old son, a black Lab & a Ragdoll (long haired cat) and this vacuum easily picks up all of the fur and dirt around my house. The Dyson Cinetic Animal Canister vacuum even makes cleaning faster.

My first Dyson wore out after 15 years and lots of hard use. Still have a Dyson upright ball for our second house and handheld/cordless Dyson for stairs, cars, etc. Product line just keeps getting better!

This vacumn has really solved the pet hair problems in my home. My cat allergies are under control since using this machine. No more pet hair on my furniture or floors after using the Dyson. It really does out perform any other vacumn I have owned.

Don't really care to use it on carpet other than under furniture as a upright is easier to use. It works great under furniture and on hard floors. The canister does not empty as easily as my older Dyson Upright.

Use in my veterinary practice daily and the staff didn't dread vaccuuming at night. Definitely got the office cleaner and made the mopping easier and cleaner. The suction is very efficient.

I used this at my boss's house and fell in love. Got one of my own and it's perfect because I have three dogs. It has improved how my carpet and furniture looks and greatly improved the air quality in my house. Absolutely love it.

We have hardwood with area rugs and this does the job on both? I lone the canister, it moves around very easy and I can reach anywhere I need to!! It's also very easy to clean. We do have lab and two cats so the hair got wrapped around the head but it too was very easy to clean up.

We have two cats and a dog in our home. This Dyson animal bagless canister vacuum cleaner is the one we needed. It sucks almost every hairs and even dandruffs from the carpet. We love it except the plastic tube and canister feels breakable though so far it hasn't been broken.

Purchased this vacuum after years of using a small shop vac as my daily vacuum. We have hard wood floors and a lab/rot mix that sheds more than imaginable. So I wanted a normal vacuum specifically for animals. And this turned out to be pretty great. Love the attachments and love dyson customer support. It's easy to empty the canister and user friendly enough to piece back together. it's a tad pricey but def worth the purchase.

I did a *lot* of research on various vacuum cleaners before finally deciding on the Dyson Cinetic Animal Canister. We almost purchased the Shark Navigator hybrid canister/upright, but found it a bit too clumsy to use (Best Buy is great in that they let you try it out right there on the showroom floor). We also compared the Dyson canister against the upright. Between the two, the upright is a little easier to vacuum the floor (because it's all one unit) but its mechanism for removing the wand and vacuuming other surfaces was awkward and left the upright in a precarious position when in use like that. And, this is a personal thing, but I *hate* cords that don't auto-wind. If you have a lot of carpet, especially thick carpet, then you should get the upright. But if you're like us and have 90% hardwood floors and only a few rugs which are all short pile, then the canister is better. It has as much if not more suction (I think this has the most suction of all the Dyson vacuums or any vacuum on the market), it's easy to drag along, and using the want in various configuration is a breeze. It only has 2 flaws: 1. The brush head is powered by air. This is fine 80% of the time but on very smooth fabric surfaces (like a couch) the head is sucked down so hard to the surface that the bristles stop moving. I don't know why they didn't put a motorized head in this - even their small portable units now have motorized heads - this is really the only flaw in the design and I would be will be fixed in the next iteration. For situations like this on a sofa, though, the smaller tangle-free brush is better anyway and does not get bogged down. 2. The accessories don't attach very well (or at all). There's a little snap piece that holds the edge cleaner tip and the fabric cleaner on to the vacuum, but they fall off easily. And there's *no* way to attach the tangle free brush to the vacuum at all (which means having to always keep track of where you put it away). But this thing can SUCK. It cleaned our carpets, sofas, cars, etc with no problem at all and pulls up stubborn dog fur easily.

Overall the vacuum performs well .. Learning to Removing the canister takes a few tries.. Personality the vaccum head is small and prefer wider option to cover larger areas. Plenty of Suction and power.

I love my Dyson vacume cleaner. Easy to use and picks up Rottwieler dog hair with ease. Why did it take me so long to purchase?!

This vacuum is unbelievable. Suction power is on point and the brush adapters are super helpful. Way better than the Rainbow vacuum I purchased and returned.
