I have never lost suction and it really does clean better than any other I have used. I was surprised at how much dog hair it vacuumed up after I had vacuumed with my old vacuum

There's only so much a canister vacuum can handle no matter what.

When you use the vacuum it feels cheaply made. It flexes when it shouldn't really flex. But the biggest problem is the canister. It just opens when it wants to. You'll vacuum and when you're finished you'll pull canister off and when you do the lid drops down and everything you vacuumed goes all over the floor. It has one locking tab that doesn't do a good job securing it closed.

Not as handy as other Dysons I own

Great vacuum!

The long wand is great for manuvering around and under furniture. Also, I'm tall, and the adjustable wand is wonderful! We have two dogs in the house. Dog hair is no match for this vac!

It’s impressively terrible. To preface: I have 3 kids, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. It’s a lot. Vacuums get put through their paces here. We vacuum nearly daily. The intake hole on the brush bar is so small, I had to unclog it no fewer than 4 times in one room with carpet. It’s unconscionable to charge this much for a vacuum and have it this poorly designed. After one use, we returned it. We’ve had various Dysons over the years, from the original Stowaway canister to two of the cordless handhelds. They all performed better than this. Maybe in a home with adults who keep a tidy household all the time this would be fine, but in a busy house with multiple kids and pets? Spend your time and money elsewhere. Literally anything else is better than this. That non-motorized brush bar is beyond worthless. I don’t understand why Dyson moved away to from motorized brush heads, but it was an incredibly decision. Never again.

The carbon fiber turbine tool features carbon fiber filaments to pick up fine dust from hard floors, while the stiff nylon bristles help remove ground-in dirt from deep within carpets. Also, with the center of gravity inside the ball, it's easy to maneuver around your home, and if it falls over, it picks itself up again. The wand articulates 360° to give you greater control. I mean it works fine, cleans everywhere, the motor is powerful but I am always afraid to break different pieces. Also, I wish they designed the waste holding part to. be more secure as sometimes after vacuuming it may open accidentally. And most importantly, price is outrageous.
