I originally purchased one model down from this in horse-power. I quickly found out that it couldn't keep up with the pet hair from my 3 dogs and just general cleaning. We have area rugs and hardwood floors and stairs. This vacuum takes care of it all and I have no complaints or dislikes. It has a tremendous amount of power. I also like that it has a stairway attachment which did not come standard with the original model. I like the backup of the warrenty as well. It's an awesome product.

My boyfriend has a Pug. This pug sheds NON-STOP, and we clean the house once, sometimes twice a week! When I used the Dyson Animal Vac for the first time in our home, you would be speechless to how much dirt, sand, and Pug fur was picked up!! We had to empty the bagless compartment 3 Xs in a 500 sq.ft. house! It made me disgusted to how much was being missed with our other cleaning tools! Soooo thankful I spent the money to keep my home safe and clean for my boyfriend's, Pug's, and myself's health! Thank you, Best Buy and Dyson! I LOVE it!

Lightweight, easy to use vaccum. So much suction you can watch dirt on the hardwood a few inches away getting sucked into the machine!

This vacuum is great if you have the money for it. Consider other Hepa filter vacuums that maintain high power and are bag less. This one has the high turning radius but is still pricey.

Our previous vacuum was a dyson and we loved it, which is why when we needed a new one we decided to go for another dyson. This vacuum has great suction however it does not feel as sturdy as our previous dyson. To recline the handle section of the vacuum you have to press down on the whole thing and tilt it back. I find it annoying when I am just trying to wheel it from room to room when I am not using it. When you are done vacuuming and you go to put back in the upright position it does not lock back into place very easily. Mine clicks as though its locked in the upright position but it is not. Still a good vacuum just a few minor design flaws.

Great vacuum cleaner!!! Easy to put together, easy to use, great suction, easy to maneuver, and is light weight.

Purchased for christmas on recommendation from my grown children. Not disappointed. Unit works as advertised and we are pleased with the results. Much better than our current cannister unit. Easier to clean and no bags to buy.

I never thought I'd spend this kinda of money on a vacuum, but an opportunity allowed me to purchase this Dyson. I must say... It is far superior than any other vacuum I have ever used. It truly is like they say. You'll never go back and you won't regret it.

I love this machine. We bought it for our new house and it has not disappointed. Great on carpet and tile and makes cleaning stairs a lot easier. I only have to empty the canister once for each level, but it's an easy process. We have short-haired dogs that seem to leave hairs everywhere - this machine finds them and does the job. So glad we treated ourselves.

I was pretty skeptical that we needed to spend this much for a vacuum cleaner, but after using this vacuum for a couple of months I'm a believer. Single pass over really dirty areas. Gets pet hair in a single pass and I love that I can go from one surface to another without having to change any height on the vacuum. I would highly recommend this vacuum. Glad we bought it and expect it to be a good long term investment for thorough cleaning in our home.

I purchased this vaccuum on Black Friday. I was thinking about purchasing one in the past but the cost was prohibitive. The Black Friday price and my research of these vaccuums (reliability, performance, etc.) was what helped me with my final decision to purchase this vaccuum. I also like the fact that it is bagless and that it is easy to empty the canister. It is very easy to use. I have since purchased additional attachments. I love this item.

This is my first Dustin purchase and I am very please with the quality! It has great suction and its easy to move in different directions with the ball. I also love that its simple to dump the canister(the stuff would get stuck in my old vacuum and I would have to get it out with my handshaking some dust fly all over). I also love one of the tools that come with it to make it great for stairs or couches or just small spaces.

Been using Dyson vacuums for many years. My first one lasted over 10 years. It is actually still working, but two plastic pieces broke on the canister which is why I decided to just buy a new one. Don't get me wrong - I got my $$$ worth out of it. I hope this one lasts as long. I know they are expensive, but they work great. The only negative is all the flimsy plastic pieces that can break if you are not careful. Besides that - everything else about it is great!

The amount of dirt this vacuum picks up is embarrassing. No way my house could be that dirty. It glides effortlessly and steers easily. What I don't like is the way it snaps into the upright position. It takes me a couple attempts to get it to stand up. The accessory tools are cheap. The brushes don't stand up when you clean baseboards and the mini turbine head doesn't even store on the vacuum so you have to retrieve it from the closet when you want to use it. For a $600 vacuum, I expected better....but I would buy it again simply because of how well it vacuums and how easy it is to push around. I have my 25yo Sears canister for my car, upholstery, and other times I need tools. I'd love to show them to Dyson so they could improve their cheap tools.

We love this vacuum! I had no idea that our old vacuum was not doing the job until I tried this vacuum.I got so much dirt out of our carpets!We had just vacuumed with our old vacuum then went over it again with the Dyson.We could not believe the dirt that came out of it! Truly great vacuum!!

Nice product, excellent design, even the packaging of the product is designed well. Vacuum has a lot of suction, you will be surprised how much dirt your old vacuum left behind. Even though the vacuum is a little heavy the design allows for easy maneuverability. Be patient with the accessory hose as it takes some use before it will relax enough for easy use.
