She told me two things; she needed a flat iron and not to buy the Dyson because of the cost compared to others. With that in mind, I began my search. Dozens of cosmopolitan articles later……I just bought the Dyson. It’s the best, she loves it, all ends well. Spend the extra money.

I’m very happy with it but I’m giving it four stars for the price tag and the fact that it is very heavy. I only flat iron small sections of my hair so the weight isn’t an issue for me. If you have lots of hair to straighten - the weight will take some getting used to.

Lower heat- no steam from frying hair and a noticeable difference. I had actually washed and straightened my hair a few hours before with my CHI iron and hair was different- smoother and without the short hair frizz- after running through this on lowest heat.

The loves the no frills, no wires, and sleekness of the product. After her approval we have now purchased the Dyson blow dryer and hair curler as well. Would recommend this product. The only knock on the Dyson hair straightener is the price. It is a little pricey but you do get what you pay for.

Guys - get this for your wife/girlfriend/daughter. My wife has been extremely happy. Loves the wireless feature. Her hair even looks shinier after using this compared to her last one. She also claims it doesnt fry her hair as bad either. Purchasing this will get you big kudos.

Not happy..

I bought is as a gift since my girlfriend has been watching videos reviews non-stop. We have had it for a few weeks and VERY disappointed with the battery life. She has just passed shoulder length hair and can't make it though doing all her hair before the battery runs out. You do have an option to use it with the cord. However, the magnet attachment keeps falling off while using it. Way over prices for not having a suitable corded option and sub-par battery life.

We're very proud of the cord-free technology that we have developed, in a hair tool that's never seen cord-free design previously. The Dyson Corrale™ straightener can be used cord-free for added versatility. It also features hybrid charge mode. Hybrid charge mode involves styling with the Dyson Corrale™ straightener with its magnetic 360° charging cable attached. Using the Dyson Corrale™ straightener in hybrid charge mode allows you to extend your run time should you need longer.
Depending on several factors, including hair length, dampness, and the number/frequency of passes made, the life of the battery and ability to use the styler cord-free can vertainly vary. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.

I think with time, these tools will gradually replace the shoddy old ones that she clings to. If it is on sale, this is a wonderful gift for someone that love to do their hair.
